When is the last day to create a player and get the box where you can get all the exp for the season. I.E. Can I create a player today and still get all of the exp so that he can be sophomore lvl for next season?

If you try creating a player today the experience box does not appear, so the answer is no. Can't remember what the actual last day is that you can, probably just before the playoffs begin.

Create a pup player, play one game, and then convert him. You can then catch up to sophomore.
