What are the observations so far of the changes from S18 to S19?

Passing:
wide open catching?
- much better; they all have stick 'em

catch in traffic?
- about the same; they still catch balls with 3 defenders drapped on them

Running:
outside?
- worse; runner gets tired faster

inside
- about the same

Defense:
tackling power runners
- not high enough level to tell

stamina
- several people saying the defense got hit hard by stamina/conditioning nerf but my defense hasn't really felt any effects

Zone
- I think the buff to quickness helped out zone alot as I build my zone defenders with very high quickness
- fixing the deep zone helped out; my deep defenders are acting like they should and it helps to cover the deep pass and forces shorter throws

Now that we've had some passing/physicals changes, I think now's the time to revisit the "deeper throws are often underthrown thing", maybe we should switch that back to under and over thrown? That would reward WR's with higher physicals.

It's fine, wait until you have more SP. Your Sophomore so it's still pretty limiting.

Maybe the quickness buff will help the DBs come back to the ball quicker.

Ive been trying to get this back for a while. all my damn WRs are physical based and there is little to no pay off for them because of this.

A beautiful Head Fake isn't so nice when all that ground he gained on the defender is lost from a wildly underthrown ball. At least it's impressive how quickly someone running full speed can stop on a dime.

Maybe the QB needs more throwing power?

Currently has the same power as this guy:

These types of over the top throws that lead receivers were more common back then.

I remember somebody stating that the lower the power, the higher the ball will go in the air when a bomb is thrown. High power and the ball will be on a rope.

That's definitely true. There's a sweet spot.

When I had usc's high power qb pm our team our line pd's and interceptions skyrocketed. He was however perfect for hitting our power wr on underneath routes tho.
