I am looking for a balanced Team, should I build a S* G? If so what is some good build advice?

Here is a build I am thinking..

Id put more speed...even with pull specialist. Id go with early bloomer, just look at all those unused caps. Get rid of those points in confidence and max agility, up conditioning and speed. You also don't need nearly that much awareness for run blocking at least. I also wouldn't bother with intimidation at all on a balanced build

Agreed on all accounts. If you did do Early Bloomer though, the attributes would have to change to increase your conditioning and speed caps. He's a S*, you don't really want him subbing out!

Thanks everyone.. I will post a redo soon.. Does power play a roll? Or if I keep it in the 20s for both run and pass would that sufficient? If I max out conditioning and tech, points dwindle fast..

Yeah I'd say Early Bloomer is almost required for any OL after they jacked up the cost of Tech/Power. That last one posted looks pretty solid to me. I might do some small things differently, but 90 Tech and 60 Power is definitely in the right ballpark.

For a balanced OG? 90 seems like it might hurt the build elsewhere

Really just depends on how you want to build. IMO which may not be right you don't need much pass blk power and tech between 50-60 should suffice for a balanced interior lineman. On an OT I could easily see you wanting him more balanced

Ive had decent results at 80 RbT with 50-60 power. On a G I don't go over 50 PbT or 40 power really. On a normal G this leaves me with not much in movement skills and minimum conditioning. For a S* id want to use him to pull better and still be able to play every snap, so id think youd want more conditioning and speed and quickness and lead block aware. That +10 to tech is what another 10-12k SPs alone. Is that 10 points really going to make him block that much better for that much investment? Id think 10 more power and the boost to other skills would be just as effective if not more so.

If it didn't seem 80 already did enough I guess I could see the point. But as it is 80seems to handle it fine

If I were to build a S*G for a balanced team this would be my goal.

40+ speed is a must for any guard on a team that runs outside, even non S*'s. Having a G that can't pull pretty much removes quite a few good plays from the playbook. Plus Pull Specialist is such a strong SA in it's boost to the Run Block roll (RBT guaranteed at 75% of max) is huge.

Isn't 60 balance kind of low for a guard? They get pancaked the most of all O-Linemen and take on DTs.
