People never really see me rant on this game but I have to say I'm pretty disappointed and have lost respect for San Francisco. To see you all went out to recruit top agents just to beat us. I will say that we as Detroit and when we were Michigan madness took our beatings, we learned as a team, learned as coordinators to become better. The only way to become better is to lose, lose to top teams. Get your ass kicked and in the end say ok, what do we need to do to fix what I did wrong. Me, Nazlued, holt1dj worked our Butts off to get where we are now, last season we won the championship and 1st place ladder which is a hell of an accomplishment. More so with the 1st place ladder since you play the toughest teams from all the other leagues. But this, what I have seen with San Fran is a prime example of why we see a decline in the game, they don't want to learn to become better as coordinators but want to take the quick route of quick top agent pickups to beat us. I may get flamed for my post and that is fine. But I'm speaking from my heart and speaking the truth. I love the game, I have high sportsmanship and don't rub crap in people's faces, I take my wins and take all my losses with pride and in the end I stand tall and feel accomplished with what I have done as a DC. I'm sorry for coming out this way to you guys at San Fran but I just found that as a cheap tactic when you felt backed in a corner. That's all I have to say for now.

Whoa what he said! your right about that man . I remember so many times getting our asses kicked so many seasons of disappointment but maybe we are masochists lol. I do feel as if there are to many people running so many teams it's out of control it's time for new blood new people learning the game fresh ideas. It will eventually get stagnant.

To make a fair counter point its not like theyre running the table. They got thrashed by 23 against a team you guys finished higher than last ladder and trying to make the playoffs in our league is going to be very hard if they cant beat you.

The decline in the game is probably due to the investment this game requires without a large player base. I could own my team by myself and pay $20 or so a season (most likely more) or I could maybe try to fill it with other agents which takes a lot of time since there arent being as many dots built anymore. I like the game so its worth my money but for others I can see why they dont want to pay. Its pretty expensive

I understand and get what you mean. My point to this post was, we took our ass beatings when we started and learned from it. That's how coordinators get better. So if we as Detroit get ready to face a big team that we don't think we can handle we should just run and grab top coordinators so we have a standing chance, is that what you are saying? You don't get better or learn by doing that. Do you know how many ass beatings I took as a DC to get to where I am now?? And I am proud of that because it made me who I am now.

You know, San Fran is ranked higher than most of the teams in our league. Willcoll was doing a fine job. And I think he could have had it in him to study and beat us if he wanted to.

I'll be honest, I'm sorry if I offended anybody from San fran, I don't know who's idea it was to do it but I just have never found that good in my eyes. So yeah I'll say sorry for making it public, I probably shouldn't have and should have said something in a pm but I guess I got flamed up about it that I was typing faster than I was thinking. Deep down though, what I posted is how I feel and will always feel that way about this kind of stuff.

There's learning tools in the forums to help anyone be good at coordinating but I understand what you mean since it does look a little damning. If anything though Id take it as a compliment to your teams ability rather than a wow you need to sign these people to beat me. If he wants to learn from those coordinators thats fine and if he wants to just sit back and let them do everything thats also fine. Id rather blowout good agents than beat up on cupcake ones if I was in your teams shoes.

I fully agree, cupcake teams yeah its nice to see just high stats but it's a boring game. That's why i do feel accomplished as much as I do because of winning ladder last season, we had some close ones and also put thrashings one some top teams. But in the end it makes you feel good when you get to that point. Nobody likes losing, but again I've been in the end of that spectrum of taking beatings by top teams.

Oh man first thing this morning Sith was fired up about this lol i walk in the door at work half awake and he was riled up. A few minutes ago i thought he was going to break his phone writing a message. Personally i dont care about this as much as Sith i told him it was no bigs. I bet he comes back to my work space after this bahahaha. The only thing i dont like is how many different teams people coordinate you should get one team to be involved with gm, asst, head coach, coordinate. i think its so hard for people coming in to compete sometimes because for instance you make your first team learning the game kinda get rocked a season or two and decide okay i have learned a bit lets reset but when you do no matter what level you still have to deal with same coordinators at every level because they are involved with several teams. Its hard to beat those guys but i think if the game had hundreds of different coordinators more teams would win championships and the game would be alot more fun. I guess we look at it differently we came into this in season two started the Michigan Madness realized our builds we horrible thought we had a clue. we did not we reset a season after veteran did it again builds were better coordinating finally started coming together we realized our builds were lacking but out coordinating had improved greatly we never won a championship though. The top teams Blood Sweat and Beers, Animal Kingdom, Freakville Swampcats, still give me nightmares we studied those teams analyzed everything they did and became better last season we were fortunate and won the league title we did that through hardwork and learning from those beatings. In no way do we view ourselves as elite not even close man we still need to beat Western, and Cleveland we lost to both of those teams last year. To be honest if Miami didnt beat Logzilla in the ladder we would not have won the ladder so thanks Miami lol.

I guess i should make a statement. I personally didnt add these people to staff, i did wanna find a defensive coordinator and same for willcoll. He found these agents to better our team. I honestly dont see the problem in that. This is my first season ever on this game not just owning. I played the first GLB but only as a player. Im honestly more focused on learning this game then winning more then a couple of games. As i view the hirings as an opportunity to learn from players that have played longer than me. Im sorry that the hirings have upset you, but I dont see the problem with them. Best of luck with the season gents.

Well again, I apologize to you Dark_Knights. I have respect for you and what you are doing on your first team. I just think Will can be way better than he gives himself credit for, and thats the only reason why it put a bad taste in my mouth is because it felt like he quit in a sense. But either way, my public apologies on not just saying it in pm's and good luck to you guys and to the rest of the league.
