I just got a new Team i chose sophomore.... It looks like I have lvl 5 sophomores on my team roster... yet I got to sign my sophmore player and it says player is over the level cap... I have the Salary cap room. Curious on how to sign my players

You can only sign brand new sophomores (or rookies of any level) to a sophomore team.

Otherwise they would graduate to seasoned mid-season and that wouldn't be fair in the playoffs.

So I just got unfortunate timing of creating my new players during the off season and the became sophomores and now i can't use em haha cool thanks for letting me know Time to scout.

If your players have only played a game or two you should be able to still sign them after your team has played the same amount of games as the player has.

They can join Sophmore teams and still progress to Vet and Career Boost for 4 seasons. You may have missed Rookie but you can still get 8 out of the 9 seasons they have of life.
