I'm assuming that it was meant for Power backs based on the fact that it's an inside run SA, but has anyone tried it on a speedster? I wouldn't think it would be too viable during Rookie or the beginning of Sophomore because Carry Awr and E-Running wouldn't be high enough to get past a lot of tacklers, but once those attributes started getting up there methinks it might be useful. Has anyone tried this? If you have, how did it work out for you through the different levels?

It works great. Look at southside rebels. Our star back blue Acosta has it and did great

Yes, I have it silver on my elusive, but I'd rather I had it taken to gold and left spin at silver.
No custom depth chart means if there are any inside runs in the playbook at all chances are good your dot will run one. The boost to acceleration is great, and I think it also allows for side-to-side acceleration as well, if not at the very least it will improve acceleration after changing directions when getting through the line.

It can help you get past the LB's and D-linemen and allows you to break bigger runs inside, especially if your OC runs inside on 4wr.

Will an off-tackle play trigger it?

Opposite of real football I think elusive backs are actually a little better running inside in this game, and power may have a small edge outside although either can certainly be used for both. Therefore surge would make sense for an elusive guy.
