Opinions? Where should you place your best receiver? I have heard WR2 can be a good spot for them.

Most of the plays being spammed right now favor WR2 and WR3. I would say both positions are about equally important to me.
Where you line up your best receivers will always depend on what plays you are running though.

Good point. I have one particular WR I am trying to force the ball too and I am having a hard to getting the ball to him. That being said, at WR1 or even WR2 I can see were you would be lined up against CB1 and CB2. Although a really good team, there won't be much difference in the CBs...

That's debatable. Megatron, my #1 WR, usually gets the most targets on my team.

I ran three scrimmages same game plan, same opponent not that its a huge sample but, equal looks to WR1 and WR3, WR2 not so much. But that is probably my play selections. I will continue to tweak things but it would just be easier if I had 3 stud WRs....

Play calling has a huge effect on this. Considering the relative strength of the current passing plays available I'd agree with the guys that said: TE then WR3 then WR2 (good yac guy for screens if you are going to use them) and finally WR1.
Now that doesn't keep you from running plays that will force the ball to WR1 a lot, they just might not be the best plays.

GE please save the advise on passing for the people who havent ran run only teams for the past 18 seasons...
anyway to echo what the other guys have said, you def want to throw your best WR at WR3, TE post and TE drive (plays you should be using) focus on the WR3 and TE as primary receivers, WR2 you typically want a guy with high physicals (good speed, YAC ability) for routes like double back up and out and WR screens, and then WR1 is typically your worst receiver, typically the only main passing plays that focus on this route are plays like TE crosses (which does not have a wr2 or wr3) and deep routes like TE drive from SB big

I like my best playmaker at WR2, my best hands guy at WR1. Unlike most I use mostly the 2WR sets. When passing out of the 3WR set I usually prefer to put the playmaker in the WR3 slot and and someone else in at WR2. It all depends on the plays you call and your system.

If trying to get one particular WR targets have him play WR2 out of 2WR sets and WR3 out of 3WR sets.

You can easily scout my plays and my WRs are labeled.
Shifty plays both WR1 and WR2.
The builds at WR1 and WR2 are almost identical.
Based on the data and the builds, decide for yourself.

So, based on that, what I'd have expected seems to be true (but people who have much more experience were saying the opposite, and without data I was thinking they might be right). Your WR1 got more catch attempts than your WR2.
I really didn't understand the idea that the best WR should be WR3. That could possibly be true if you only use 3+ WR formations, but otherwise if you put your best WR at WR3 he'll spend time on the bench that's going to a lesser WR.
But your WR data seems to show that WR1 actually does more chances-- at the very least he did on your team-- than WR2, which would support what would make intuitive sense.
