I figured we'd get the ball rolling on our campaign for Offseason changes to the game. List your top 3 things you'd like to see fixed/changed in the game this off season. I'll tally up a list

1. Fix kicking...take the gravitating moral off of kickers and see if that helps

2. Update QB Scrambling...everybody just used "Almost Never"('cept GE) because it amounts to a sack 95% of the time. Allow QB to throw while scrambling, after the rollout but before he crosses the LOS.

3. Keep Inactive owners teams the same until the off season. Too many people are leaving the game and then we get new players who are buried in the DC and barely see the field. Have them go on "auto-pilot" until seasons end.

·Focus on corrections of end-of-half/end-of-game tactics(Call The Exterminator) 2

·Ability to offer/sign multi season contracts 2

·Update chem (rookies start at 100, vet level teams get high chem slots to replace retiring Legends) 5

·Build preview when you are on the attribute/trait/height/weight selection screen 2 *****

·Penalize play spam by allowing defense to auto adjust as the sim progresses 3

·Stop The Moral Death Spirals 1

·Make double/triple coverage more effective 1

·Buff Zone Defense 1

·Fix defensive tactics matrix/add a play tester 1 *****

·Active Agents Flag for Free Agent Market 1 *****

·Add Cheerleaders, if not just an image that comes up after a big play/TD Over 9000

Mine:

1: Copy every passing play 2 times (so there will be 3 iterations of every passing play) -- the two "new ones" will have different primary receiver and progression. Which primary and progression? Doesn't matter...would allow passing offenses to now finally 'game plan' by trying to exploit based on defensive play calls rather than just using the 5-10 'statistically proven best passing plays'.


2: Allow two defenders to both be in man coverage against the same offensive player. Introduce defensive options that can double cover any receiver. Plays to:
- double man cover TE1, TE2, WR1, WR2, WR3 etc. (if this exists and works now, I am not aware of it)


3: Implement a mirror image for every running play (double the playbook).


I think the sim is really good right now. Biggest problem is spammed pass plays and offensive plays that just don't work very well. (actually probably that is the 2nd biggest problem - biggest problem imo is not enough new players joining the community and getting hooked)

1. Why not just allow us to customize progressions for each play? That seems like it could be confusing.

2. I'm confused by this. I don't DC so that's probs why but aren't there plays that double man cover certain receivers already?

3. Why not just a "flip" button on each play? I wouldn't like to have to sort through a massive amount of identical plays.

2. Slight buff to Rec Hands when wide open.

3. Begin focus on corrections of end-of-half/end-of-game tactics.

I kinda agree. Could add a level of customization by implementing progression sets. Simply come up with 3-4 (could be more, could be less) sets of progressions for each formation. When a play is added to the playbook the OC can choose which progression set they want to use. You could theoretically have the same play in Short, Medium, and Long with different progressions. Special coding would need to be added for screen or screens would need to be hard-coded to ensure they go to the proper receiver.

Better then my idea of adding butt fumbles and calling it Mark Sanchez's GLB2 I suppose

1: I'm afraid that gets too much like tagging and they ain't going to go for it. Won't be confusing - just put the primary in the play name: BI TE Crosses TE1 / BI TE Crosses TE2 / BI TE Crosses WR1
