I don't understand the question. You get 5 extra skill points for each cap boost.

Allows you room to buy 5 more points.

I agree with you -- definitely not very exciting...

BUT definitely useful. You get 3 in your career...so the ability to get speed from 70 to 85 (as an example if that is what you choose) is pretty strong

It is very important. It allows you to skimp on stamina attribute points and add 15 to the cap later.

I think it's cute how GE always thinks he can get away with something like 40 or so conditioning until J-Man... lol

Well, that + Workhorse is viable imo. Without Workhorse, the cap's probably too low for most positions to succeed even with all cap boosters spent on it.

Hmm, a 1 Stamina DT with Dreadnought, Technique Man, and Workhorse has a conditioning cap of 41. Not bad.

I agree with GE, using caps for conditioning is smart because stamina doesn't give you very much bang for your buck compared to other attributes, it mainly affects conditioning whereas other attributes help multiple stats, speed is like that too. txsteve is right too though, for some positions pushing your major stats even higher is really important, it depends on the position. They aren't as big a help if you don't plan for them in pre-build planning, that's the only way how you'll know if you can get away with skimping on the lower stats, or if you'll have enough points in the end to push the major stats higher.

Theoretically from an end-build perspective you could argue that leaving them in sprinting/conditioning usually makes the most sense. Sprinting is usually good since at most positions you don't need max sprinting early in the player's career. But you still gotta play 3 seasons with the cap you have. Sacrificing on stamina can have a lot of negative effects in the first few seasons.

I feel like conditioning makes such a huge difference that it is worth it to take it to 70-80 on just about EVERY position. I think it might be the answer to a lot of build issues we can't seem to figure out. Just my .02...

I usually just press the Shift key and ignore the caps lock. No matter how long the sentence.
