I played the original GLB pretty heavy way back in the day, but stopped a few years ago. I was surprised and happy to find it is still around, but it also has a successor. My question is what are the real differences between the two? I can't devote a ton of time to both, so I want to learn what I can to decide which I want to stick with.

GLB 2 is easier, both running a team and player building.

GLB2 is easier to pick up and easier to play. You don't have to min-max players like you do in GLB1 - you can enjoy your players right away and be competitive in rookie and in subsequent levels without making sacrifices in the first few seasons.

GLB is much more hardcore in that you have pre-planned builds way in advance, etc. etc.

For someone who doesn't want to spend a ton of time on the game, I'd highly recommend GLB2. It is much easier to build a few players, check every day or two assign some SP, move on.

Cool, thanks. I have a ton of flex sitting there that I'm glad works for both games, so maybe I'll see about resurrecting my old team, well, as much as that is possible. I think most of the folks I used to know are long gone, but I'm sure I'll find some new people who are good to talk to and work with.
