This game is mostly about the forums. The simulations are whatever. You mean to tell me you pay attention to this game enough to raise your player up 2 points in Awareness or Technique twice a week? That's ridiculous.

Either get involved in the forums, talk a little smack, or get ready to be disappointed and quit the game. Because the fun in this game has nothing to do with the games, it's the forums and the community and the conversations that surround your league, and the teams within it.

For us, it's the Rum League teams.

And you gotta deal with "The Bomber" and El Gazpacho. So come deal with us - and have fun with it. We're going to.

Edit: I had to go back and look at the old game but I do remember now stomping a mudhole in your ass with the Beer Town Brawlers.

I played the first 6 or 8 seasons I think. South America but never really accomplished too much (made playoffs but not much else)

I don't remember what conference BTB was in. I know it was one of those weird off continent leagues though at least for the first few seasons.

Our original Windsor squad started in the Canadian AAA leagues and then we "slow built" a team in USA that got up to the Pro's
