Probably time for another one of these.

#1 DA vs #10 Southside Rebels

Best friends Rob and USC_Trojans face off. Anything can happen.

#2 MEM vs #20 North Texas

North Texas somehow just beat Logzilla, but their record is 11-12 and their owner just went inactive. MEM should win easily.

#3 Madison #11 Mercy Flush

Mercy has an offense that always gives them a punchers chance. Madison has a sneaky good pass defense though and their offense is tough to stop, particularly against a team that doesn't gameplan much.

#4 Bad Meets Evil vs #15 All-American House of Pain

Who would have picked BME to be #4 at this point in the season? Pretty incredible performance for them thus far. I never would have guessed they could potentially finish in the top 5. Even though they should be able to win this game I don't see any great wins on their ledger. I don't think they have beat any of the current top 9 teams, so they might have a tough road ahead.

#5 GA vs #24 Seattle Seahawks

What a terrible representation of the Seahawks. Easy win for GA.

#6 FSM vs #16 Kentucky Mountaineers

Kentucky is like a lesser version of FSM, strong defense and inconsistent offense. The problem is Kentucky's offense can completely go missing against good teams, while FSM's is a little more dynamic. I expect FSM win to this one comfortably.

#7 Richmond vs #18 San Antonio Gunslingers

The Gunslingers are good for picking up a couple nice upsets per season, but they are very inconsistent as you can tell by the 14-9 record. Richmond is on the way up after a rough patch to start the season. I expect Richmond to outcoach and outplay San Antonio.

#7 Whoville vs #12 LogZilla

LogZilla started the season strong at 11-2, but have only gone 5-5 in their past 10 games and have tumbled out of the top 10. Most of their losses are of the one score variety. Whoville held Madison to their lowest point total of the season(6) and held DA to only 24. Can they tame the LogZilla offense like they did last season? Maybe. This should be a great game.

#9 Hub City vs #28 South Aussie

Easy win for Hub.

DA vs Southside is going to all come down to which version of Blue Acosta we see tomorrow, calling it right now.

DA/Southside, Madison/Mercy, and Whoville/Logzilla seem to prob be the closest games this go-round

Well 4 picks and a missed 47 yd FG with time running out will do that. At this point though, it's pretty clear to me that my Heart investment isn't paying off with the Morale changes. Since the system auto-corrects to 50 Morale, huge Heart investment is effectively nerfed. I think Saul's high Accuracy/low Heart build (relative to Belgarath) is better. Tip for the day.

Anyway, we're 4th in Total Yard Differential but 10th in Points. I need more Defensive build variety to improve the Points underperformance (or a better DC - Rob, do you have a Vet conflict? ).

Whoville is good and they certainly out gameplanned me last season. If that happens again, it's another LZ loss.

Went ahead and fixed that for you

We do have wins over MEM and FSM in the top 9 and also have beaten Southside, Mercy and Winnipeg who are 10, 11 and 12.

I was clearly wrong then. Not sure how I missed those.

We both have good D's with poor O's? Should be interesting!

Well, that was pretty surprising.

Haven't watched it yet.

Pretty sure I don't want to.

You're not going to like the first half.

ok, there HAS to be some kind of game-to-game morale... it is just ridiculous how Candices season has gone...

5 INTs in first 15 games (or 5 in 17 games if you include competitive scrims), 101 TDs (6.7 per game)
14 INTs in next 9 games (or 18 INTs in next 10 games including competitive scrims), 46 TDs (5.1 per game)

my schedule wasn't backloaded at all. It's like she suddenly has turned into a giant head-case.

Easy explanation is that now every team has much higher chemistry. So you're passing against fuller, more legit defenses.

well that is odd. but maybe you have just played better defenses overall the last half. also you have to think about how many teams you have played that now have chem that is or almost full.
