How much footwork is really needed on a coverage CB? Is 70 too low at end build?

I think 70 is a good goal, 80 is ideal.

I've been taking footwork between 75-85 on my CB's and thought maybe I was going too far. Thanks Kayoh.

Are you guys going the same in Balance too? I always try to keep Balance and Footwork the same.

I think Footwork is more important.

Most great Pass Cover CBs that I see have very low Balance. Usually 14-15.

I remember Corndog saying sometime back the bad turns after the back pedal by CB's was due to low Balance. Guess I was wrong this whole time.

That may be true, but it's not showing up in Targets/ Pass Catches Allowed.

It's so cheap to get skills off their floors..20 seems about right to me for Balance on a cover CB.

This is correct. Balance helps change direction.

No, it is important. What you remember is correct. Balance helps players turn around and change direction. I try to get about 40 balance on all my zone coverage defenders.

i have 55 on my vet corner and he has put up good numbers
