100 pass rush power and 100 Hold Ground vs 100 pass rush tech and 100 break run block?

Everything else as far as balance, quick, sprint, conditioning and tackling skills roughly the same, probably switch footwork and intim for the 2 builds.

tech obv goes with spin, shed block while power probably goes with tunnel and death grip

wanting the DT to pressure the passer and stand up to the run, which are you going with?

Tech. For the power aspect to even come into play you have to lose the technique roll.

Oh easily the Tech for balanced. Too hard to spread SP around for Power.

It's both winning and losing a roll. Lose the roll, Power helps prevent you from being pushed further. Win the roll, Power helps you move the o-lineman backwards.

A Tech only d-line won't have as much success running MO in Very Short situations as a Tech + Power d-line.

I'm extremely curious what a really high Tech+Power d-line with Tunnel Vision would do against passing teams.

Did a quick throw together there and got:

prt: 82
prp: 92

hg: 60
bltz awr: 50
def con: 40

tkl tech: 50
tkl grip: 60

balance: 50
foot: 83
quick: 40
sprint: 25
cond: 35
tough: 58

snap: 85
heart: 48

would gold Spin and Tunnel, if someone wanted to spend the money for the SA boosts prob silver death grip

I advise against Golding Spin and Tunnel, they're either or SA's imo.

why would they have to be either or? they don't cancel each other in any way, and tunnel firing could help spin firing if i'm not mistaken.

Wouldn't that be the main point in getting both prt and prp up? to fire those SAs

All tech. Max footwork and power tackle. Gold shed block, spin cycle and silver monster hit. Boom!

I'm pretty sure they can't fire at the same time. If TV fires, you have to wait the full duration before Spin Cycle can fire.

PRP is helped by PRT, what I mean is that 100 PRP and 40 PRT would be a useless pass rusher. Ditching PRT just because it doesn't help TV fire, will make an ineffective pass rusher. You still need the tech to win the roll for the power to really shine.

Tech in spades. Its not even a debate.

If this were real football, it would be a discussion. But in GLB, Tech.

Hub's DTs are around 80/60 tech/power, our DEs are closer to 80/50. Check the cake:revcake stats.

That's some awfully low conditioning at 35.

Yeah.

Pure Run DT you *might* be able to go as low as 40 Conditioning with high Toughness, but any Pass DT needs at least 50 if not 60.

LZ Boys average 89 plays a game. How can you handle that with 35 Conditioning?
