Warrior General Games

As someone fairly new to the game, I struggle with figuring out which users know what they are talking about and which do not. It isn't something that I can tell just from the postings becuase i don't know enough.

So I thought I'd go through and look at different owners records. I pretty much just went by the people posting in the veteran thread up there and I really only went through a few pages worth. The people who post a lot but don't own a team, I ignored as it is impossible to know which teams they have real jobs on and which they do not have real jobs on. If that is you, feel free to whip your own e-peen out in this thread and stroke it until the white stuff comes out.

The best possible ratio I think would be someone who won a gold trophy every 15 games. That would mean they win gold ladder and gold league every single season.

Salary Cap has 1 gold trophy
8 gold trophies in 516 games as an owner.
1 Gold Trophy every 64.5 games (1:64.5)

Should take off the 18 games that were played this season to get the bes tresult possible as you are unable to have earnt yourself a trophy in those 18 games

I'm very good at being mediocre! Being an OC I am highly dependant on having a solid DC to be successful...I haven't been in the position to win gold since the rushing changes. My new squad should have a chance! (Especially if were in GEs league lol)

And where is the love for championship game appearances? DAMN YOU RICHMOND!!

good point. taking 18 away from everyone would still show roughly the same spread though mathematically right?

right. I haven't owned a team so I'm not eligible. I thought I made that clear. Also, I tried to make the point that as a newb it is difficult to know who knows what they are talking about and who just likes to post a lot and be an attention whore. In my opinion this is a decent indicator so I thought I would share.

I added myself to the list in case it makes you feel better.

hes just looking at ownership records and not all coaching records otherwise some of the OP numbers would be a lot different

Its faulty then. Many owners are just that . . . owners who know little about how to build and run a team, but they have deep pockets and good coaches. Much better to look at coordinators, coaches, etc. Sure, some of those are LOL-coaches, but most are not, and those who post regularly are usually of the active variety.
