I know everyone gets the same amount of SP. But with Discounts %s on attributes, you can use those points wisely or not.

Is there any way to compare one player to another? How well they were built? Or is the team matchup page the only way to compare team build quality?

GLB Had this with players so you se how well a dot was built. Dont the %discounts do a similar thing that can be tracked?

Wise is pretty subjective in this game when it comes to spending sp.

This but I think he is talking about mathmatically did your 210,000 or whatever SPs equal out to as efficient a number as possible. I guess you could add up the total of all attributes and compare to players of the same position/type. Might be interesting.

Mathematically would be impossible. With GLB1 - relatively straightforward.

With GLB2, other than brute forcing your way through every possible iteration of a player, this is extremely difficult if not impossible. Assuming a non-S* player, you would have (X C 3) different traits (where X = number of non-S* traits).

You also have Y number of permutations of attribute allocations, which is based on getting each of the six attributes between 1 - 10 and the sum of them equalling 35.

You then have another Z height/weight distributions.

You would easily be in the realm of millions of different opening builds - to determine whether the opening build you used was most efficient based on your desired skill distribution would be impossible.

On the other hand - my understanding (I haven't played GLB1 in a long time) is that the discount % is based on how much SP-equivalent you save because of the automatic level ups. It is not a deterministic calculation of which build is most efficient but a comparative one. The only savings in GLB2 with respect to GLB2 comes from opening builds (if I put 10 points into skill A then 10 points into skill B, the end result is the same as putting 10 points into skill B then 10 points into skill A) - this is completely different from GLB1.

so say... every player at max life has earned 200,000 SPs... Lets say that player was buil effectily and has an Effective level of 225,000 ....... Compared to his back up which has an effective level of 215,000 Just because they maximize their builds, because they used the traits for the right SP placement. obviously S* players would have their own standards.

If I have 10% worth of discounts on an attribute because of the traits. 1000 SP should go 10% farther on that attribute than a player that doesnt have those corresponding traits.

I see your point. That makes sense. That could be helpful and could easily be designed by a third party. It would provide a comparative perspective of a build's efficiency but would not ultimately determine if you used the most efficient opening traits/characteristics.

Would be relatively easy to do as skills top off at 100 and you pick the discounts.

So for example this HBs skills add up to 890

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/101243

Therefore before I even consider his traits/attributes we can see he has an average of 235.95 Skill Points per Accumulated Skills (AS?).

Would be interesting to see how everyone stacks up. It would be a PITA right now though.
