So I'm thinking about starting a small "Off-Day tourney" for my tier. These types of tourney's were pretty popular in the OG (glb1), and Custom trophies for the winners were even handed out and put on team pages with other awards.

Is there any chance in hell of this happening in GLB2?

I only started playing GLB2 a few seasons ago but to my knowledge people tried in the early seasons... teams lost so much interest and the tournaments never finished...

The improved Ladder and ELO reset each season has diminished the need for Tournaments, in my view.

And people where never really into doing them.

Agreed, the ladder removes the need for a tourney.

I'm not interested in off-day tourneys cause I need a day where I'm not in a time crunch. Don't want to gameplan every day. As it stands, FSM and HAHA might have to go "default" for a few games this season. Trips and such.

Yeah. Jampy tried to run a Tournament of Champions in season 2. It fizzled about 2 rounds in (partially because he got forum banned). I tried in season 3 and the thing ended up being scrapped because it was almost impossible to get the games simmed.
