if you have cap boosters, use them all on receiving hands & pump it as high as you can. After that, dump all the rest of your points into sprinting. If you have points left after that, cap conditioning & pump toughness up with the rest.

It can help you break free after the catch at times imo, but definitely a luxury.

7 months ago you insisted footwork was necessary for "crispy ass routes" and trashed me for implying otherwise.

Agree/disagree with footwork on receivers. Agree that it's mostly useless for most things a receiver does.
There are a few routes where I think footwork helps (Xars doesn't run those), and footwork helps with YAC on throws where the WR is coming back to the ball.
All in all I wouldn't put SP towards footwork. But if you make a specialist offense designed to focus on the things footwork enhances for receivers, it'd be a pretty interesting experiment.

Helps on those turnarounds to face up to the QB and catch the ball.
Helps off the line and at the first cut.
Pure Speed helps the Screen guys more. All my LZ Boys have Quickness > Sprinting, though it's close.
It's why you need First Step. You can't beat the blitz if the WR doesn't get to the break fast.
I like 50 quickness on a WR. First Step still fires a decent amount (it's not like a higher "powered by" skill makes the SA more effective, just makes it fire more) and allows the WR to make pretty good cuts.
