My TE has 24 drops on the season.
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/133622

The following receiving attributes are all maxed : Rec Hands, Rec grip, Rec Consistency, Catch in traffic, and rec awareness is at 35 of 53.

Clearly there are some non-receiving attributes contributing to this. Any thoughts on what I should look at as secondary attributes that may be contributing to this?

Build is closed.

I would keep an eye on moral and see where hes at with that. The higher it goes the better he will play I guess. So if heart is lower id say it would be a good choice.

Im new but my brother been helping me learn builds. So take anything I say for what its worth

how high is your rec hands? You said maxed but your cap could be like 55 and that'd be way too low.

Looked at a few of your drops and it is some similar things I am trying to figure out on WoTW. Just short throws where the TE doesn't turn around in time. Part of me feels footwork but we have tried that and hasn't seemed to help in them turning around quicker for those quick throws. So not entirely sure what you can do beyond the obvious rec skills. Seems to be more on the QB's and oline's end.

doubtful. we are at 50-60+ in that category. That was my first thought so we started pumping that so our vertical and diving skills would be super useful.

maybe? that would suck and be kinda random though. Points in Quickness and Sprinting we were trying to avoid through vertical and diving.

59 is his cap. Is that based on the type of TE I built? Is it different for other TE's?

LoL "dropsies".

Here is my TE for reference...

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/133377

He is a Superstar so that helps the caps a lot. But look at his bio page and the starting attributes. Agility plays a huge role in a lot of the mechanics in this game. Confidence is big too, heart should be no lower than 35 IMO...helps cut down on the drops. That TE is on one of the best passing teams in the game so it helps to have a solid team to be on also. The QB build plays a MAJOR role in the receivers performance.

He might be tired or low heart even if you ran maxes. I dont think agility plays as big of a role as people say. A good TE can just catch and get no YAC frustrating a defense with his 11 yard get.

Getting too tired combined with bad throws will cause drops. I think those stats really start to show themselves at the 12+ level where before you can ignore it.

Use Cap Boosters to increase his Receiving Hands. 59 is rather low.

I'd also guess that his low Heart would play a big part in it. If your team runs the ball ever, that TE would be losing every blocking engagement, have bad morale/energy for when he's trying to catch the ball...and thus drop it.

Increase Receiving Hands, Conditioning, and Heart.

I'm just referring to agility's role in receiving caps.
