A real shame this game has lost its players. Short of making all the players on my own team, I'm screwed, so I'm out.

Yeppers. Glad to see I am not the only one seeing this issue.

Too many "One Trick Ponys", only passing, only running or teams whose owner owns all the players has ruined this game.

It is possible to beat a one trick pony but it makes it real difficult.
It is sort of a "cheat" on the system. Or what the heck let us just say it is cheating.

Only the true winners win with a balanced team. Rest are sort of "sore" winners. Assh0le winners. LOL
