I did this thread last season for the Season 1 guys.

There's just one rule, you can't pick one of the players you built yourself. Give some explanation about why you thought this particular Season 2 player was awesome. Do play links for examples. Describe Career stats. Something to spice up your post. Tell us something about a cool player that we maybe didn't already know.

for season 1, I chose White Lightning as my favorite player to watch.

For Season 2, I'm going with a first generation S* player, Philip Fry.

Philip has set the bar for receiving tight ends. Sure, there'll probably be better builds come along. Nobody will ever be able to match his career HoF accomplishments though with the way the HoF works.

Fry has won SEVEN straight offensive TE HoF #1 awards. He was a consistent cog in Air Raid's offense. Teams were forced to account for him with either a strong coverage LB or by bracketing him with LBs and a Safety to discourage passes in his direction. The defenses that ignored him routinely got tore up for 200 yard, 3 TD type days. There's already other TEs that have managed higher yardage totals than Philip, but none have been the touchdown artist that was Philip Fry. He averaged nearly 47 TDs per season his career. As a veteran, he averaged 61.5 TDs per season.

If I ran a one-TE system on the Bulldogs, I have no doubt in my mind Brian Barlow would put up Frys numbers
