Last thread was fun. This one isn't going to be as fun because the ladder game is happening on a Saturday and I won't be as available to keep up with the thread. That's ok though. Away we go:

#1 Porn (22-2-1) vs #10 Virgins (20-5) - Top passing team vs top running team. Porn offense has been a little bit unreliable over the course of the last half a dozen games or so. Virgins were held to 10 by Bloody / 7 by Manheim / 10 by Arizona / 3 by Enmu.


#2 No Name 22-3 vs #7 Omaha Beef 20-5 - Again we have a pass heavy team against a run heavy team. No Name has won 10 games in a row (last loss came in what seems to be a 0-6 anomoly vs Deadman). Omaha has won 6 games in a row. Somebody's streak is going to end tomorrow. Will Bhall/Duro/BearsRule be able to come up with a winning game plan? Tune in and find out.


#3 Ashland Dockers 21-3-1 vs #18 Deadman Odyssey 16-9 - Again with a Bhall/Duro/Bearsrule team. Looking at league play - Ashland has scored 604 points. Deadman has scored 185. I think the real question here: will Deadman be shutout in this game?



#4 ArizonaSU 21-4 vs #14 Santa Fe Gunslingers 17-8 - first: Marvinpaige / Marvin7 - why have you not commented on your multi status? Why did you not hide it better by not mixing up so many marvins in user names and player names. Sidenote: are you a big fan of marvin the martian from the old bugs bunny cartoons? Passing team vs Running team here. Santa Fe gave Porn all they could handle in the last go round....who comes out on top here?


#5 Mannheim Steamroller 21-4 vs #16 The Simpsons 16-9 - Not sure what has gone on with the Simpsons but they have played some crappy, crappy ball at times this season. Again we have pass heavy vs run heavy.


#6 Atlanta 19-4-2 vs #22 Colorado Stoners 15-10 - to continue here - Marvin...are you aware that having a multi account is frowned upon? But more curious than that to me - why did you choose to run two passing teams...isn't that boring? (friendly tip: if you'd just pop in and say "not a multi -- one is my account and the other is my sons/friends/uncles/dads/whatevers account" then I can let this schtick die...but I've at least got to have a comment I think. Colorado Stoners: 15-10. Ft Collins Stoners 14-11. It would seem that Cbomb is simply a mediocre coach and team builder. In case you're curious - he is also just a mediocre safety builder...don't let him convince you otherwise -- sure they'll force some fumbles on occasion...but they are otherwise sub par.


#8 Bloody Slaughterhouse 20-5 vs #11 South End Vipers 19-6 - South End beat Atlanta a couple of days ago. Beside that, if Bloody Slaughterhouse happened to see vipermaws explanation of where his fingers have been and how they got sticky and/or slipper I think it is very possible that Bloody decides to just forfeit this game rather than come in contact with every STD known on the face of the planet.


#9 Salty Runback 20-5 vs #24 Strange Music 15-10 - yet another pass heavy vs run heavy battle. Would be cool if every one of these pass teams choose to run the same run stopping defense - and every run team runs the same pass stopping defense.

I choose:



Santa Fe over Arizona SU (mostly just because it seems to annoy the guy who owns arizona that people keep choosing against him)

and

I choose Vipers over Bloody (mostly because Vipers came through with the upset for me last time)

I will take BEEF over No Name.

maybe Vipers over Bloody.

I have a hard time believing any other of these games will be close but I do hope for a Virgin upset.

i dont see many of these games even being possible to be upsets

except

vipers over bloody(yes this is my team) but i still dont think it will happen.

overall this doesnt look like as interesting ladder day.

porn will win hands down, to easy to beat virgins with defense.

i would love asu to lose just for shits and giggles but they wont.

I predict no upsets this time around. Though I think PORN and I've Never Had Sex will have a fairly close game, within 2 scores.

Other ones should be fairly one-sided I think. Don't think there will be any upsets but I'll pick Santa Fe over Arizona. Obviously I'm not picking against No Name but I think the game is really a 50/50 coin - from an outsider's perspective, having two pick two upsets, doesn't make sense not to pick that game when you look at the rest of the schedule.

Zero upsets.

But also, fuck you Steve! ASU is the #1 running team, not those scrub virgins.

I would say the Sperm Whales are going to upset Legacy but .... I struggle against TxSteve affiliated teams.

I think I'm going to recruit him to be Head Coach this offseason
