Hello folks.

I'm offering a QB for a rookie team, Rafe Bush.

Its fully boosted, and I tend to boost wehenever possible.

The path I'm taking for this player will be to develop all pass oriented stats pass oriented + mental and leadership stats. Of course, under the direction of the Head Coach/Ownwer to better cater for the team needs.

You will have a difficult time finding a team midseason, but it's certainly still possible. You need to open the build though.

You can also sign him to a CPU team for now.

I'm not trying to be a jerk here but its not likely any team is going to pick you up at this point. Everyone and there mother want to make a QB in this game and there really isn't enough teams for them all. I recommend making any other player besides QB to start. You will have a much easier time finding a player team.

Also its mid season currently which means any team you join you will have 0 chemistry with so most teams won't even look at this page till the end of season. I would use this time to join a cpu team and learn as much from the forums and other agents as you can then retire him at the end of season and try again. Look for teams building and see if you can fill a void on there team.

Getting to know other agents is so important in this game especially if your not willing to invest in some flex.

Yeah, unfortunately I think this is what happens to most people. They create one player, normally in the middle of a season. They pick a QB or HB...get no offers then pretty much quit the game.

Agreed that's what i am trying to avoid is another 1 and done agent. I really wish that QB and HB were Flex only spots. Hopefully he gives another spot a chance and finds a place. I wish this game was a little bit more newbie friendly sometimes.

If they are that fickle and loose interest that quick, they weren't going to stick around a long time anyway.

Nature of the beast. Someone coming in mid-season and making a QB should know they have very few options.

How should they know? I didn't know when i first started i didn't even know there was a season going on. It not like they ease you into and show you the ropes. People had to tell me just like i am doing now. To say that its the nature of the beast is just ignorant. Maybe just maybe with a little more understanding and a little push in the right direction people might stay in the game or even invest so real money into it.

Yeah, I'm also aware its difficult to jump on the bandwagon at mid-season, but I hadn't played this game since 2008 and what the hell... what can you do?

You can take attributes below 5. Your starting attributes determine your skill caps, so they are very important. 5 speed is not necessary on a passing QB. I would take that down to 1 and then that is 4 points you can put elsewhere.

A good way of seeing what the different attributes will help with is to create your player, retire, recreate, retire, until you get the right combination you are looking for. You can get your passing caps above 80 with the right combination of attributes.
