Instant I mean...
How is that possible?

Im referring to this post http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5225407?page=1#48982220

2 Questions...how is it done? And is this some kind of cheating or just tricking the system a bit like retiring a Superstar before game 30?

If its just a trick then on of the teams I GM could really use it so any answer would be appreciated

The only way I can think of is making a rookie today, let him play tomorrow for a human AND CPU team and then catch up in Offseason. I dont think the system is dumb enough to let you get the double XP, is it? And if, that sounds a little like too much tricking for me.

You can still get double xp. Well, I've seen people still get double XP from a game on their creation date. Not sure how easily reproduceable it is.

Probably easiest way is to create on the second to last ladder day, get the xp, play in a ladder game, get the xp - now you're sophomore 3 days early. Play in the final ladder game, now you're sophomore 3.3%. Catch up. Instant Seasoned player in a few days. Probably miss out on both rookie and sophomore S* points too.

I don't think you could create tomorrow and still use catchup. Pretty sure it's disabled for tomorrow? worth testing either way just to see if it can be done I suppose.

mhhh. yeah. I said create today btw, not tomorrow I think tomorrow we wont be able to build "experienced" players tho. At least it used to be like that at some point. So your theory cant be tested now.

Didnt know ppl still get double XP o.O

Does that mean you could easily cheat a whole rookie team by creating it on day 1 and be ahead of everyone else for the full lifetime?^^ It would only be big after each level (not tier) but still kinda weird

Didn't think the catch up option was available right away... Could be wrong though. Maybe if he was immediately cut it would show up???

It works -- it appears I accidentally did it on my QB I rolled earlier this season...after today he will be 1 game into sophomore...and he will be able to be a seasoned if I choose

I couldn't give you the step by step though

Ok. I understand the thought process. Not sure why I was trying to make it more complicated in my head. Haha.

I saw your original post, why delete it? Wasnt it just repeating what was stated?

Aynway...if this works I will gladly ask in the team if someone of our agents wants to build more players for us which is great.
I still dont think this should be like that as it could be abused in many other ways :/

Yeah, just repeating. Didn't realize this was an option though. I am going to try it out.

Yea this works. As long as you sign before or during the offseason you can check catch up and have a player jump to that level at the start of the next season.

I did it with my KO specialist here: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/111972

check the game logs only played three seasons but is about to be a pro.
