Fun debate (I think). Make your choices and give your reasons why. This is fantasy as in make believe, not fantasy as in Yahoo. So construct your team wisely. Have to build the best team possible and if you choose other you must specify who and why. Obviously if you go pure pass or pure run you're going to differ greatly from the top units selected by lolHoF.

You may only select 1 team's unit for each position. That means you take each player at the position (barring any pure ST'ers/returners/etc). O-Line is grouped as is D-Line. Safeties as well.

Suggestions below if it's any easier than starting raw.

QB
Do you choose:

Saul Silver (Alaskan Assassin's QB)

or

Cleveland Brown (Air Raid's QB)

or other

HB
Do you choose:

Jimbo Jumpback, Imani Cross* and Herc Raato (Minnesota Stunners HBs)

or

Super Gamble and Bo Jackson (Queen City Brewmasters HBs)

or other

FB
Do you choose:

Larry Centers and Richard Wakefield (Alaskan Assasins FBs)

or

Honk Honk (I've Never Had Sex's FB)

or other

TE
Do you choose:

Philip Fry (Air Raid's TE)

or

Jerry Sandusky Shower Time and Hal Scott (LUELinks LUEshis TEs)

or other

WR
Do you choose:

Aric Adler, Brian Fantana, Rage Quit and Jeremy Sedita (Alaskan Assassin's WRs)

or

Jain Farstrider, Tiny Rogers, Shorty Toney and Xavier Warner (Air Raid's WRs)

or other

O-Line
Do you choose:

Queen City Brewmasters O-Line

or

Minnesota Stunners O-Line

or other

D-Line
Do you choose:

Harrisonburg Bulldog's D-Line

or

Jebediahs Oblong Ball Club's D-Line

or other

LBs
Do you choose:

Alaskin Assassin's LBs

or

Queen City Brewmaster's LBs

or other

CBs
Do you choose:

MMArmy Can Crusher's CBs

or

Rusty's Ruins CBs

or other

Safeties
Do you choose:

Hingle McCringleberry, Tony Parrish, and Calvin Pryor-Krum (Oregon Duck's Safeties_

or

Freaky Fast Delivery, Roberto McCord, Gabe Draper and Dante Gates (Dookie's Safeties)

or other

Returners

Camen Cider (I've Never Had Sex's Returner)

or

Extra Returner (Queen City Brewmaster's Returner)

or other

My picks. Only curveball is I take Stobie's QB since I liked what I saw. Just needs a better system. I keep Queen City's blocking relatively together but add in 3rd and long passing capabilities with S* central since I'm assuming salary is of no concern in this fantasy. I keep my blocking TEs as well since I function the below team as run first, pass only when I have to.

Almost a pure team of superstars sounds juicy.

QB
Kyle Stobie (Ministry of Dotball's QB)
HB
Super Gamble and Bo Jackson (Queen City Brewmasters HBs)
FB
Honk Honk (I've Never Had Sex's FB)
TE
Queen City Brewmasters TEs
WR
Jain Farstrider, Tiny Rogers, Shorty Toney and Xavier Warner (Air Raid's WRs)
O-Line
Queen City Brewmasters O-Line
D-Line
Jebediahs Oblong Ball Club's D-Line
LBs
Alaskin Assassin's LBs
CBs
Rusty's Ruins CBs
Safeties
Hingle McCringleberry, Tony Parrish, and Calvin Pryor-Krum (Oregon Duck's Safeties)
Returners
Camen Cider (I've Never Had Sex's Returner)

sweet - we obviously just found Chronicbomb's multi!

More interesting to me: if it was an NFL style draft -- who do you take (single player) with the 1st pick?

You don't want my CB's. You may want Intercept. But I think its a wash with Can Crushers CB who is better overall in coverage with less INT's.

At this point I think more people would take my LB's than my CB's.

You have to play the matchups!

What happens when you have to play Minnesota week one then Air Raid week 2?

QB: Saul Silver (easy choice)
HB: Queen City hbs (2 s*>1)
FB: Bhalls cause i like fbs who can do more than block
WR: Air Raid (I believe saul would get more out of air raid recivers with the season changes)
TE: Philip Fry (the original and hands down best TE of the group)
Oline: Dookie Island (incredibly underrated balanced line putting up good stats quietly
Dline: Stark/ground assualt (easy choice. snow and defensor might not rack up the sacks like peter griffon but they create a ton of tfl and pd oppertunities and all 4 des contribute to the team its a very deep front 4. ga should be the easy choice soon, 3 s* dts are just nasty)
LBs: harrisonburg (probably one of the best balance lbs cores I have seen)
CBs:Stunners (easy choice, shout out to smith from mma though 56 pds and 6 ints yikes)
SS: Stark (Octavian does everything for stark with 23 pds, 124 tkls, 23 tfls and 5 fuumbles its hard to find a more complete safety)
FS: Capua Gladiators (Beau Johnston is a monster, he may not get you many pds or have elite coverage but with 174 tackles, yes you read that right, and 21 ff its hard to ask for a better big play stopper).
Retuners: n/a not a single returner i looked at amoung the best teams had good return td numbers vs good teams. hard to be considered elite when no one is scoring tds on special teams vs real teams.

you guys are high for not even mentioning Randall Cobb (WR, #8 in Hof... been #1 in HoF before) or Brian Barlow (TE, #3 in HoF) in the discussion. If we decided to throw more (we ran more than we passed today), the two of these guys could easily be at the very top of the HoF. The only guys ahead of them are on 100%/95% passing teams.

I'm sorry, I think Barlow is better. Fry has less yardage on a pure passing team and is the ONLY TE on the squad, while Barlow splits time and my RBs score almost half of my TDs. Barlow could easily put up those numbers on Air Raid.
