It's not even that bad here, but I am ready for spring and throwing the white flag on winter.

Now that's something I've never seen before.

The snow is nothing in comparison to the cold snap that killed me in the latter half of February here. Terrible.

I'm from East Coast of Canada, I really dont want to hear you complaining
We don't have roads and sidewalks anymore, just tunnels of snow.

It's been cycling back and forth here. It's operating on a weekly schedule it seems. It gets warmer over the course of the week until it's almost 80 degrees, and then it slams back down to 35 with 100% humidity. Have you ever been in a high-humidity cold? It's hell on earth.

shit yes. It's normally much more humid in the winter here. that's been one advantage to the ass cold-ness, it's kept the humidity level down, and the snow has all been pure powder instead of heavy wet shit.
I noticed a huge difference between 'Maine cold' and 'Montana cold'. -5 in Maine (typically, when there's more humidity) for a week is damned near unbearable, but felt about like -20 would in the dry cold of Montana
seriously, though, 35 with high humidity? I would LOVE that shit right about now

I don't know, I work outside a lot in the winter in MN, wind can be a SOB but you can dress for the cold. I would take -10 with little wind over 90 and humid any day, hate that crap.

Massive snow amounts can wear on you though, he have almost no snow cover this year but had 100" a few years back.

saw -24 on my car thermometer last week

didn't know it would go that low - thought it would just shoe "ice" instead

got to let the transmission have a little extra time to shift since all the fluids don't flow normal right away

I have to travel up to the Boston area Sunday for work. Praying for a miracle that God decides to get rid of all the snow.
