I don't see this brought up but I personally am tired of it. I don't mind kickoff specialists and power punter but the fact that my returner never got to see a single returnable punt or kickoff is not fun and ruins the game for returners as they watch their guy do nothing. No punter should be able to consistently punt 60-70 yards and it probably could go 80+ i bet if they were pushed farther back and while some kicker can consistently kick out of the endzone in this game people can just roster a super cheap second kicker and pump his power 90+ just for kickoffs. at this rate returners will just be warm bodys on the roster for the maybe 5-10 games they actually get to field a ball.

Uhm, why?

If ppl are really investing that money into a KO specialist, then why shouldnt they have those long KOs? You could easily give out High contracts instead, so its a valid choice. Also, on a 42 man roster a designated Return Man is a luxus, that you either wanna have or not. If he doesnt get many returns, then react to that.

I do agree that Punter Power is stupidly overpowered^^ It doesnt matter where you are, a TB is possible even within your 20

Kickers and Punters should just be CPU's anyways. It would make so much more sense. You could make them so much more realistic rather than playing upon the expectations of what a S* punter should look like vs a regular punter. Then you could have a little side AI of kick left/right/middle on kicks and punts.

Just give every team a kicker and a punter. Pull all the human K/P's from the game. Compensate the people with human K/P's for it. Move on by making all the kickers and punters the same. Put together K/P AI in the book. It would make things so much more interesting and remove an annoying position from the equation both in creating and recruiting. It will also remove the 2 specialty kicker crap in the game.

yea cause one super cheap kicker should basically completely invalidate returners? I built a returner to actually return kicks not watch some seasoned kicker and punter basically guarantee i see 0 playtime.

I'll agree to this when somethings done to keep my all-pass blocking olinemen from getting morale murdered on returns.

I agree with this. ST's should be strategical, not build oriented. I am fine with pushing a bunch of FF builds on ST's and doing what you gotta do. But Run Block specialists shouldn't play 2 roles. Especially when Pass Block builds already seriously are useless.
