Theoretically this should work at slowly draining morale enough to break tackle after tackle towards the end of the game. But does it?

Are builds with high intim too poor for that RB to really get some good gains, and another normal one is needed to take advantage of the low morale defenders?

Is the morale drain too slow to really pile up with 1 RB, do you need a second RB to also have high intim in order to seriously start affecting defenders?

Basically I'm just asking for observational experiences here.

Average intim on this guy (34), but FT is at least to gold. It says 10 energy and 5 morale ADDITIONAL but I just don't see it. Most times it triggers, the tackler regains the morale loss from making a tackle. It's stupid. It doesn't do like it says. Most defenders end up with more morale than they started with at snap, lol.

@snap 52 energy 29 morale
@pre-hit 42 e 29 m
@Freight Train gold 37 energy 25 morale (hardly 10/5 'extra' reduction, it was only a 5/4 total loss)
@goes up +1 4 ticks to +4 morale immediately from tackle grip checks, immediately back up to 29 morale, as-if Freight Train did not just happen a few frames prior in the drag
@+2 more morale instantly for big tackle check I assume, now at 31 morale
@end of play, +5 morale for who the fuck knows...tackling a guy? morale now up to 37. final 26 energy 37 morale. Despite a freight train gold and 6 yard gain & 1st down given up, this free safety raised his morale 8 points. I have no clue why.

@Freight Train loses 6 energy 4 morale total.
@FT Wears off, he regains a few +morale for a tackling check
@Gains +2 more and is back up to 100 morale at end of play.

So, you can make your own decisions if a guy at 70 intimidation is going to be much crazier. Currently 34 intimidation with the extra 10/5 loss is doing essentially nothing versus agent created players. It's crap is what i'm sayn'. Even if you somehow gain the full bonus and score a loss, you have to ask yourself if other SA's would have been better.

Went through a few more plays of that game:

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/144173/2218469

Freight Train triggers basically as he's already tackled. Defender suffers zero initial energy/morale loss and gains 9 morale for a very nice tackle. But Freight Train triggers and the defender suffers zero loss, or would the defender have gained more morale if not for the Freight Train?

Next play, against the other RB (who we should assume has intimidation as low as the base of what 14? So no Freight Train and -20 intim.). same defender as your first example makes a strong tackle (but lets up the first down) and gains 7 morale.

That one is interesting. Passing play.

Right before catch, defender Sweet Nate has 66 energy and 95 morale
@ catch defender drops -9 energy and 0 morale
@ Freight Train triggering, defender drops -11 energy and 5 morale
@ plays end, he finishes with 36 energy and 95 morale. (So he drops a further -10 energy but gains +5 morale)

Defender Sweet Nate's next play (he took the next play off, which happened to be a touchdown), so for the PAT, he had 70 energy and 87 morale). Do defender's get morale drains for plays when they aren't on the field?

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/144173/2219489

Here's a play where the defender tackles the other RB, for a 1 yard gain on 2nd and 1. He starts the play at 51 energy and 84 morale, but ends it at 31 energy and 98 morale. It's tough to tell, but I think the defender has 46 energy and 84 morale at contact with RB. So against a non-Freight Train tackle, the defender drops -15 energy and gains +14 morale.

I'm curious what a high intimidation back with Freight Train would look like. But right now it seems like Freight Train's morale penalty makes defenders sort of tread water, but generally lowers their energy quite a bit more. Also need to see a missed tackle attempt.

The defense on the field suffers the most damage from a touchdown, but it does also affect the entire opposing team impacted by their heart.

The other HB has the same intim, but no FT SA. Also, I see massive energy resets from sitting out, but not much morale change.

Freight Train kinda helps make the bonus from a good defense play a wash. Not sure if that is productive for 6 ability points when you could have Mr Reliable or surge or spin to gold.

I would consider it on a high intim guy where you run like crazy. It's just added F-U to the defense who is getting pounded by blocks, now even unblocked tacklers get punished. Besides that I would steer clear.

It's real punishment would be on a guy who completes a grasp and gets dragged, and then falls off. If he brings the HB down though, he gains from a tackle roll, and the bring down itself it seems. So if you are winning power run rolls it can be good. Maybe decent 3rd gold in a S* on an all running team.

Watched most of his plays. It only fired a few times. Once against a DT whose energy/morale stayed the same. Another where he shed a tackle but the DE already had morale at 1.

It seems like it won't fire when Mr. Reliable has fired, and Mr. Reliable seems to fire way more often than you'd think for it being Bronze and a Carry Awareness of only 33.
