Getting the first gold SA halfway through a players career is a bit ridiculous, and getting 5 SA points in the last season is too. Move a couple of those to the earlier tiers, so mid/end sophomore can get a gold SA. It would also help narrow the disadvantage when a lower level tier team draws a higher tier ladder opponent.

I like the idea of swapping out a couple of the SP stars in rookie/soph with a couple of the SA stars in Journeyman/Pro too.
More SPs later when stuff is more expensive so you feel like you're making more an improvement to your build. More SAs earlier for more dynamic early builds.

Actually I think the easiest (and best game fix for the creators) would be to move the AP Boosts to the first three levels. That would allow those willing to purchase them to hit gold sooner etc...
