The problem with it that I can see, is you may actually get in front of your blocking.

Yea you have to be careful on how fast you make them. Too fast and the blockers aren't in front of them to slow and defenders are off vlocks

What about FS and Surge combined with an effective inside QB rush like QB Slam from Shotgun? That could be pretty interesting.

Yeah it was the fist SA I took to gold. You need very fast blockers for it to work well, I would have a FB with gold first step and lots of pull specialists

very high snap reaction helps too
