Two of the better run only teams all of last season. Seattle proved its dominance until the Hub City loss in the playoffs. MEM had 4 losses and a tie before their own first round exit. These 2 did meet last season in a 17-7 win for Seattle mid season. I would expect another well contested battle between these two to display how much they have improved from last season. However until proven otherwise Seattle is in a strong #1 position for Sophomore. Seattle in a close one by 7.

Late 90's Hornets took some heat over the off season for soft league play assisting them to the #3 position. This is a good early season match up to let them prove their place. Hornets are also the only Top 5 without a pure offensive attack as they balance it out. They are more pass heavy and one of the better passing teams in Sophomore. Factory is a pure rush offense and looking to prove they belong not just in the top 10 but also a little higher. However Hornets also have a solid defense and I believe they will prove they belong for another week. Hornets by 17.

SoA had a rocky season in some regards last season but was able to maintain being in the top 5. The6 possess one of the best pure run teams in Sophomore (theme?) And have a stout defense. However as with 3 of our top 5 couldn't make it out of the first round of the playoffs. Their opponent the Outlaws boasts a balanced offense and solid defense. They sit just outside the top 10 and could very well be in it at some point this season. SoA though is #4 for a reason and should prevail. SoA by 21.

Second best ladder game of the day after the #1 vs #2. Hub City as much of the top 10 boasts a strong all running attack and stout defense. DWC is the only pure passing team in the top 10 and thus has the #1 passing attack. DWC doesn't have any s*players on defense but has a very stout defense as well. These two teams met last season right before we all went back into division play in our league games with Hub City claiming a 17-14 overtime win. Both teams have made minor changes to the their respective rosters. Hub City might be able to hold things down with having a s*ss and a s*fs but with all the run teams have they started working on coverage skills? DWC added another s*wr to give them even more options on offense trying to over load teams. I can go against my own team.... DWC by 10.

Now Weihenstephan Hefeweissbier changed up their game a little. Going from a top 5 championship winning run only team to what appears to be an all pass attack? Had only 4 rush attempts in their opening league game but I suspect this was to try and sell out in passing vs an opponent that would expect them to be an all rush team still. Use the surprise change to win the game, however MCM won. I would expect this team to be a balanced deadly attack and even though close in rank atm will dominate this game. Xmascoin had a good year losing the championship for their league by only 6. However they went 1-7 vs the other top 10 teams listed here and unfortunately until proven different don't see them overcoming yet. Weihenstephan Hefeweissbier by 17.

13th was on the verge of top 10 in and out all season long. Strong staff good offense and improving defense. Phuket played strong all year. Played most the top 10 strong including a win over SoA. How far have they come to climb the ranks? This would be the start of their climb if they can do it but I think overall 13th has the edge. 13th by 10.

Two teams off to red hot 3-0 starts taking care of business. 13th probably wishes this game was a little later in the season but the schedule gods say "Time to FIGHT". I do see 13th playing this one better then last season 10-28 game. By the end of the season the were playing the top 10 much better and each week slowly crept another rank up. Seattle has proven nearly impervious to defeat, nearly. They scraped out an OT win vs MEM last ladder game but they hold a powerful 14 rank lead over the #2 in overall. With a 25 rank advantage on the overall boards and how well they play safe money is on Seattle. I do think 13th will play it closer then expected though. Game announcer says " Finish THEM!!!!" Seattle by 14.

My the season has not been kind yet for Xars and WH starting off 0-3. MEM on the other hand is 2-1 with their only loss being the thriller vs Seattle. WH don't be fooled is still a dangerous team. Xars is just doing some experimenting as he has stated looking for that right combination then will once again be playing at top 5 level. Could this be the game he finds his lucky charms? MEM hopes not. 2 early season losses could hurt them pretty bad with only a 2 and 3 spot lead on the overall board over #3 and #4 on ladder. A loss here could drop them down out of the top 5. WH needs the win more and is more dangerous because Xars knows what to expect from MEM but as of yet no ones knows what Xars will do on offense. I'm going to play it safe and call this one a MEM win. Both teams starting off strong this season with a perfect 3-0 season. SoA has been dominant so far this season looking to take charge of their own destiny and eagerly watching those ahead of them what with MEM so close and Seattle within sight. Rebels have added another offensive mind to the mix to give their game planning another boost. Will this be enough to put them over SoA? SoA has a dominant run only attack allowing Rebels game planning advantage as the Rebels put forth their version of a balanced attack. With the Rebels at #12 and knocking on the doorstep of the top 10 they want this win. But will their combined offensive discussions be enough to thwart the power SoA is showing atm? I'm putting this one in SoA hands. Become the excellence of execution in this and put them down like the IRA. SoA by 17.

DWC is off to a fast start with a solid 3-0 and combined 132-13 scoring. Despite league play they did have an impressive game vs Hub City winning 24-13. Of course I am biased but DWC is here to prove themselves this season. JSCS come in #16 and 2-1 having lost to the Fappeners 0-6. Now what team will show up vs DWC? The 2-0 league team or the one that lost to a team at the time 10 ranks beneath them? Granted in a 0-6 game a single play could have won it for them. We have a truly balanced offense vs (in my biased opinion) the best passing game in Sophomore. DWC though has proven to be a very good defensive team as well and in this one to add some comedy to it - DWC " Yes JSCS, we will take 39 Venti Salted Mocha Caramel Frappuccino please". DWC by 24

Hornets sit at 2-1 having lost their ladder game only while Hub City has had to face the #1 team in league play and current #4 in ladder. This is a must win for both teams as both have trophy aspirations. Hornets need this game. They have a very strong offense and defense and still want to prove the off season nay sayers wrong. They will remain top 10 imo no matter what and its staying top 5 and climbing back to top 3 they are looking to prove they belong. This will be another solid test for them. Hub City came in expecting to be a contender. They finished last season strong was in every game they lost and started the season in the top 5. Now with only the one loss they find themselves looking up and not liking it. I expect Hub City will look to take it out on the Hornets and try not to fall to .500 so early in the season. Its will be a tough fought battle but I'm going to go with the So like play in early Hornets history hitting the buzzer beater falling onto his back with his arms pumped straight into the air. Hornets by 3.

Factory have started off 3-0 and climbed from #8 to #6 with help of their upset over then #3 Hornets. Factory is playing very good on both sides of the ball and lean heavily on their QB run. Nebraska might be 1-2 but very well could have been 0-3 or 3-0. All 3 games have been decided by only 1 score. Vipermaw is a talented coordinator and the trophies of this teams past covers their record and rank showing they know what they are doing and will turn it around. Question is, is this the game that starts it? I do feel Nebraska at times plays on par with any top 10 team so this will be a true slobberknocker of a game. I am taking the favorite to win but this game could be an upset. Factory by 10.

Xmas is 3-0 and Denver is 0-3. Denver though has lost by a combined 17 points and having faced SoA and MCM already which are 2 of the top rushing offenses in our tier. Their other loss was BME who is another team plays top 10 ball as they are #12 and looking ahead. So don't let the #22 ranking fool you. They have played some of the best run teams very close. And that's exactly what Xmascoin does is run. Based on their play I'm going to keep this one short and call an upset. Denver having been in 3 close games against run teams finally gets a kiss from Lady Luck and upsets Xmascoin. Denver by 3.

MEM has but one loss in a heartbreaker in game #1 of ladder against Seattle. They have been tough to beat and hope to keep that #2 rank. Factory has been on the climb recently. They as well have a single loss against a lower ranked opponent though. But they have an upset win over Hornets to their credit as well. So which Factory will we see? I'm pulling for Factory but in the end MEM is too much. MEM by 10.

Now LVO just recently joined the top 10 and have changed their OC. I would expect to see much the same offense as we see from the Hornets. With that said does the players builds on LVO have what it takes to slow down DWC and put up enough points against them? DWC defense hasn't looked at times as good as it did last season and JSCS took advantage of that. In the end though DWC offense was enough to get the win. I can't pick against my own team and as well don't belong in top 3 if we can't take care of business. DWC by 7.

They had a heck of a second half just couldn't quite close the deal. Is this signs of potential? Or just a really good game where everything came together for them? Both teams sit at 4-1 on the season off to good starts. 13th having only lost to Seattle and FBU to Xmascoin. 13th has been forced recently to make a change in the backfield and with chemistry being the fickle bed partner she is could this hurt them more then it should? FBU has been hanging around the middle teens and always seems enough to not drop much lower. This one though I think the coaching on 13th is enough to not have issues with their new HB. 13th by, eh let's be funny - 13.

Hub City seems to be struggling at the start of the season going 2-3. Could it just be misfortune? All 3 losses are to current top 5 teams in Seattle, DWC and Hornets. Its still very possible to turn things around. Unfortunately they face the Rebels who keep clawing at the edge of top 10 and are a very solid squad themselves. They would love nothing more then to break through with an upset over Hub City. The Rebels are off to a very good start this season at 4-1 with their only loss coming to SoA. They have a very good coaching staff and this could be a good statement game for them. Going with the upset pick here. Southside by 3.

OK probably not gonna be as good this time. Just a heads up, little sick and upset at losing 2 ranks when we had a 41-0 win. Anyhow....

BRJC has been steady and proved top 10 standing and pretty much top 5 so far with their play. They do have a loss to Factory on the year atm but play a pass powered balance attack. Seattle won't get anything easy in games like this but, they aren't #1 for a reason. Seattle by 10.

MEM has but one loss in a heartbreaker in game #1 of ladder against Seattle. They have been tough to beat and hope to keep that #2 rank. Factory has been on the climb recently. They as well have a single loss against a lower ranked opponent though. But they have an upset win over Hornets to their credit as well. So which Factory will we see? I'm pulling for Factory but in the end MEM is too much. MEM by 10.

Now LVO just recently joined the top 10 and have changed their OC. I would expect to see much the same offense as we see from the Hornets. With that said does the players builds on LVO have what it takes to slow down DWC and put up enough points against them? DWC defense hasn't looked at times as good as it did last season and JSCS took advantage of that. In the end though DWC offense was enough to get the win. I can't pick against my own team and as well don't belong in top 3 if we can't take care of business. DWC by 7.

Not sure what all is happenning to Weihenstephan Hefeweissbier but they are on an 0-5 free fall and haven't seen anything yet to say this is where things change. Hornets have at least proven thus far to stay in top 5. Should win again this week. Hornets by 17.

SoA is coming off their first loss of the season against the uprising in Motor City Mayhem. SoA is a very strong team so this means they will probably have a little extra work in to make sure they win this. JSCS almost had themselves an upset last game. They had a heck of a second half just couldn't quite close the deal. Is this signs of potential? Or just a really good game where everything came together for them? We will see how well they play against SoA. Sons by 17.

Xmas has been coming early for the men with money off to a 5-0 start. They have climbed up to #7 overall in tier and should have no problems dispatching the Fappeners. Just don't get caught with your pants down or ah ah ah you didn't say the magic word could be seen streeking across the field with nothing but a coin in hand on his way to a TD. Xmas by 20.

Both teams sit at 4-1 on the season off to good starts. 13th having only lost to Seattle and FBU to Xmascoin. 13th has been forced recently to make a change in the backfield and with chemistry being the fickle bed partner she is could this hurt them more then it should? FBU has been hanging around the middle teens and always seems enough to not drop much lower. This one though I think the coaching on 13th is enough to not have issues with their new HB. 13th by, eh let's be funny - 13.

Hub City seems to be struggling at the start of the season going 2-3. Could it just be misfortune? All 3 losses are to current top 5 teams in Seattle, DWC and Hornets. Its still very possible to turn things around. Unfortunately they face the Rebels who keep clawing at the edge of top 10 and are a very solid squad themselves. They would love nothing more then to break through with an upset over Hub City. The Rebels are off to a very good start this season at 4-1 with their only loss coming to SoA. They have a very good coaching staff and this could be a good statement game for them. Going with the upset pick here. Southside by 3.

OK probably not gonna be as good this time. Just a heads up, little sick and upset at losing 2 ranks when we had a 41-0 win. Anyhow....

Seattle has been solid so far this year but 2 close good games already. They escaped losing to MEM and last time around held on to beat top 10 new comer MCM 14-0. BRJC has been steady and proved top 10 standing and pretty much top 5 so far with their play. They do have a loss to Factory on the year atm but play a pass powered balance attack. Seattle won't get anything easy in games like this but, they aren't #1 for a reason. Seattle by 10.

MEM has proven dominance as well only losing in a close call to Seattle so far. DVD other then being an option or recording and playing or a wrestler, has been solid in games. SoA having only lost to new comer to top 10 MCM has been a steady top 5 since early last season. BME struggled at times last season but has been rededicated this year for better performance. As they approach the doorstep of top 10 themselves they run into a top team in SoA. Can they play upset and climb into top 10? SoA by 14.

DWC upset at losing ranks despite convincing win get to face a former top 5 team still learning its identity. WH did get its first win of the season by mainly returning to their roots and leaning on the run game. Will they be able to continue winning against DWC? My team so can't go against it. DWC by 17.

13th has played very strong this year and only loss is to SoA. The Rebels just had a top 10 upset over Hub City and have been climbing slowly to get into top 10. Both teams play a variation of balanced offense. I'm going to call it close as both teams are solid and have solid coaching. 13th by 3.

MCM makes its first appearance as a top 10 team and they get a decent matchup in JSCS. MCM has been playing nearly lights out football though and should win this one. They need to be careful though and win decidedly because Southside is tied on the overall boards. Even in a win they could find themselves out of the top 10. MCM by 17.
