I only give my defensive players power tackling. Why don't they try to power tackle every time? They should be throwing themselves at the HB, not trying to pull him down.

too many points spent on intercepting and footwork or jump -- or whatever you've been talking about....not near enough on tackling

Winnepeg's running backs are REALLY good. Is there any team out there they haven't embarrassed with lots of broken tackles?

The Leopards. At least not yet. Only three of our LB's and one CB are actually good at tackling. It would be a bloodbath if they played us. Not looking forward to playing Ground Assault looking the way we are now.

I feel like Winnepeg has the best RB's in Sophomore. That could change in Seasoned, and I also haven't played ICK or Kiwi's yet. But the Winnepeg backs just seems to give everybody problems.

Just looked...used the wrong tactics.

Central did pretty well against them early in the season. Our HB trio outgained theirs 286 to 66.

Ga's reggie wilson has more broken tackles than either of them.

I love GA but that's almost exclusively due to volume. Reggie's at 717 carries this season, 169 BTs. Winnipeg's RBs are at 531/143, 415/108, 448/163. So, if you go by ratio, Reggie breaks a tackle every 4.24 carries, while Winnipeg's are at one every 3.71, 3.84, and 2.75 carries, respectively.

To be fair ga also had a much more difficult scedule than winnepeg. Winnepeg's hb have disappeared against the top teams (outside of one game with default) in this tier so i do find reggie's more impressive.

So I beat Winnepeg and lost to Ground Assault. But from my memory, Ground Assaults run game was helped by the rest of the team. Great blocking. I had stuffed, or so I thought, Winnepeg for a big loss a lot, only for them to break tackle after tackle and get a 1st down.

Put those backs on GA's team...woof. No bueno for the rest of us.
