Personally, I'd like to see this revisited. I'm not suggesting we get around the limit of 3 S* players. However, I should get credit for non-S* players in re-earning my S*.
As a well paying customer, I don't see the point of not giving me credit to re-earn my Superstars.
Here's my example and I'm sure everyone has theirs:
My LogZilla team has 2 S*. When the team reaches Vet and exhausts their seasons, I'll fold the team.
Based on the current system, I would then need to wait at least one full season (almost two months of real time) before I could re-create those 2 S*.
On my LogZilla Boys team, I have 39 non-S* players. On my WH team, I have 41 non-S*.
That's 80 players and that doesn't include players I have on other agents teams.
Re-earning 3 S* is currently equivalent to 45 player seasons. Currently, I do over twice that each season. I don't think the S* themselves should earn credit towards another S*, but non-S* players should.
Finally, I really don't see the point of making me wait 2 months of real time to wait to re-generate my S*. I realize that GLB2 is a business and S* create an economic incentive for people to spend $ on the game and to fill out rosters with non-S*. I already do that as do many other customers/agents.
Since there is already a $ hurdle, why is there also a time hurdle?
This needs to be rectified. Otherwise the incentive to not continue with the game once your S*'s have retired is pretty large.
