Playoff time is almost here.

In Alpha - there is a battle for the division with DC trailing Jersey by 1 game

In Gamma - there is a battle for the division with the Farmers trailing Compton by 1 game


In a glimpse into the silliness that is beta - we see that Minnesota and MMA have both clinched playoff spots (who is division winner and who is wild card is yet to be determined) -- but the silliness -- the only two teams who have clinched a playoff spot are also guaranteed to face each other in the first round of the playoffs...how silly is that?

If nothing else, I guess we get a double header as we play two games (the first being meaningless) three days apart.

Whats worse is that Drinkin will miss the playoffs.

Yeah, very unfortunate. Hopefully when we bump to veteran we can get a reshuffle and Minnesota out of our division

The only teams who ever beat us were the ones naive enough to think they have a shot.

With DC's win today over the Goons it is possible for us to have a 4 way tie heading into the playoffs if the Potato Farmers beat Compton in their next league game

I am so glad that upsets never ever happen in GLB2 during the play-offs.

Chyah. Season 5 I game planned a gem and upset Time Trial's team http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/74602

I had the balls to think I could out think Peeti's Erkners and steal the trophy but his RB build was just too much for the season 1 rag tag roster guys on the roster. The TT victory caused quite the stir in forums though. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5148541?page=9#48532275

Coordinating is fun as hell when it pays off, embarrassing when it doesn't.

You go to a party expecting to have only a few drinks and mingle with some friends, but you find yourself waking up in a stranger's house with your panties on backwards.

It wasn't just the league forum that went nuts, all of GLB2 had the OH--Shit "Face"!

I vote Kayoh for Commish. If it was up to him, we would already been crown champs- base on our regular season performance.

I stated it early on, that Minnesota would have an easy road to win the whole thing. Who was even within 20 points?

I'd like to point out that DC scored the most points against them this year out of everyone they played in ladder and league

Credit should go to my crappy defense more than to your offense, to be fair.

and Compton scored the 2nd most points against them. So really, they're just not as good at defending the pass as they are at defending the run.
