You can get Flex Points by purchasing them OR by referring other people to the game(s).

you can play free players...i think this game offers 2 free players
GLB2 offers 1 free player and Mighty Brawlers offers 3 free players.
if you want to do more than what you can do with free players then, yes...you will have to buy flex.

IIRC, 2 free players was only for people who beta tested.

yeah, i wasn't certain about that which is why i said "i think".
i know i have 2 free players but i started during the first season.
maybe i shouldn't even be trying to help noobs

also can win Survivor for RP's (reward points) which are spent like Flex but 0 refund given back at retirement (usually 70% flex back from retiring a dot)

There's ways (as explained above) to get flex without paying for it but, other than that, no. However, I'd work with your free dot for a while before plunking down any $ for flex for now. Learning all the tricks of dot building isn't easy even with a good mentor helping you along. And, mistakes cost money since you'd be paying for the dots at that time... and their CEQ... and their boosts. You get some flex back whenever you recycle (retire a dot and build a new one) but not all of your flex invested in the dot.

Make dots for an MLF team. Only cost is at creation and all flex comes back at retirement.
