MVP races are suppose to be about the best all around player. It is ridiculous that Darth Vader isn't even in the top 10.

League Stats:
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/league/87

His rankings in the following categories:
tackles: 3rd (only 3 behind 1st place)
assists: they don't list, but he is probably top 3
PD: 1st
KL: 1st (twice as many as 2nd place)
Int: 1st
FFum: 3rd

Well i know its only lolrookie but if you look there its kinda sad that in the top 20 there are only 2 non LB players. The only non lb is top 15 is a DE who has 37.5 sacks and barely hits top 10. HOF might weight stats the same across all positions and maybe LB need to be favored a little less or DE a little more in certain categories. With blitz schemes in lolrookie and sophomore still its far to easy to get LB sacks compared to DE. At least thats my observation through a season and half of the game.

Dont get me wrong some of those LB still have pretty damn good stats.

And GE looking at LB leader board for HOF at each tier but VET it appears to be dominated by Sack Stat for LB.

I don't blame the fact that players are in MVP the wrong way more so that it's too easy to get sacks in GLB. Now I have the other end of the spectrum. I rarely give up sacks even on rookie and sophomore and I run a full passing team. I think the issue is just that builds play such a large role in it that if one side goes to the extreme the only way to combat is to extreme yourself leading to other deficiencies.

builds matter both ways too. With the increase in run stuffers, there's fewer real threats to QBs at lower tier too. You don't see teams line-up and M/O or ZEB you to death nearly as often.

Correct. The new Defense Meta is to build a bunch of Run Stuffers and a TT LB. Passing will get harder once LBs can get GOLD TT.

Though it will get reduced if I am not mistaken with new revamp so really should only help. Might cause teams to evoke 2 QB systems again.

defenses going for the old gold TT and building to stop the run are going to get seriously wrecked by good passing teams like Air Raid, Compton, D.C. and Rusty's. I get that TT is going to fire but a QB with decent heart/toughness will recover that morale damage pretty quickly against a team with bad pass defense builds.

The thing is you can get get away with building the dline and linebackers full run stop and still have a good pass defense if you build the corners and safeties right.

Uhm, which is a realistic thing in my eyes^^

If you dont need to pressure the QB to stop completions why bother with it. Totally working correctly.

Ive read that Trash Talk crying several times now and I can only laugh about it. This SA is so far from beeing overpowered, its not even funny. Some shouls just stop crying and start adapting
