this is less a suggestion and more of a cry for help

I have my first Dots on a veteran level team and ... basically they just sit there right? I mean I can't do anything to tweak performance to adjust tactics to o anything at all, and this is the endgame right?

how about letting veteran players do mild respecs through the season, maybe they don't get new points but they can refocus some they have? not enough to go from all pass to all run or something but enough to make tweaks, or maybe more tactics than 'run elusive, pass rush power' for my cornerbacks

obviously we can't joystick control but as agents of dots all we can do is watch the movie of the game. and why would I pay money for more that one season of it?

maybe this is as designed/intended and as the owner/coordinator it wouldn't be an issue for me but this year i'm just running dots and ...it's a curiously disinteresting experience

I agree with this

there is a difference between having 'no maintenance' and 'nothing to do'

Adding in maintenance to create more to do sounds counterproductive to a root cause issue for certain users. Personally I have no problem just watching sims as my 'to do'.

Also, maintenance for the sake of maintenance is silly.

in your opinion, my opinion is you are wrong. watching is not 'doing' and that's kind of an absurd suggestion.

I don't know about "Maintenance for the sake of Maintenance" But something would be nice...

maybe they could let you subtract 750 sp per game and apply that in a different place, if you so choose?

I don't have any veterans and I kind of like the idea of having a full season or more without adding any SP, but being able to correct things you regret about builds (to a small extent) might not be bad.

You're missing my point because I didn't +1 my load all over your post.

You're bored with your player at plateau. You feel there is nothing for you to do. While I explained that I personally am fine with my fun output being watching sims (I pay money for watching sims/playing the games), given any sort of trend here, that's a fundamental problem with GLB and something that would need to be addressed at the root level.

Adding more maintenance items wouldn't be a magic fix.

p.s. watching is definitely doing something. Verbs bro, verbs.

Since I'm not on my phone.

Veteran is only "endgame" for teams and owners. Plateau has never really been about builders.

and of course I didn't suggest maintenance for the sake or maintenance but rather something tactical I could do as a team member to help the team. I made a few minor suggestions regarding targeted 'respecs' or maybe more tactics options - maybe a slider that helps the veteran be more balanced for zone or man or whatever on defense ... I'm spitballing here

watching isn't doing (sorry 'bro' but if you think watching sex is the same as doing sex ...) it's really passive and it's counter to the game experience up until veterans right?

regardless it's working as designed so I will withdraw the suggestion

The problem you will find with adding more tactics to your player is that it makes it fundamentally harder to build a team of anything besides 1-2 agents and be legit from game to game. One of the largest 's of GLB1 for a DC was to see a corner or safety on an aggressive setting giving up a score. Especially when said person would lie about their settings to you despite it being obvious as all hell.

The more tactics you add out of the coordinators hands, the more frustrating it becomes to have a team built of anything but your closest buds or just yourself. And if those tactics don't matter enough to the point where we can say that, then what is really the entire point of going to extra mile for it? Right?

That being said having played Mighty Brawlers a bit I do think it would have been neat to make players AI follow their SA choices kind of like the tree AI for each character in MB.

I like doing sex...but seriously, both activities are something people spend their money on. Bad anal-ogy. lol
