Orlando Warriors vs D.C. Corrupt Politicians
2nd worst team in the tier vs the #10 team in the tier. DC - if you don't put up 80+ we should all consider it a loss for you.


Jersey Goons vs Drunken RedZone Zombies
Here we have #15 vs #13 - has Jersey gotten any better since the roosevelt days in rookie? Was the Zombies championship a fluke? We probably aren't going to learn anything from this one --- I predict Zombies win by 10


Drinkin Hellraisers vs Minnesota Stunners
#4 vs #1 - should be a good clean game. Never know what you're going to get out of those Hellraisers. With the Stunners - you can be confident you will get a lot of rushes. These two teams haven't met since early season 5 and late season 4 (in scrims). This game should definitely give us an idea how we will fit in here. I'll predict - Stunners win by 20


Oregon Ducks vs Can Crushers
#22 vs #3 - can the Ducks and their thrown together roster gain any traction? Will the chem hit be big? Will the ducks find a way to repeat the success they had in Season 4 when they won their league? Probably not looking good. I predict: MMA wins by 17


Drunken Potato Farmers vs Compton Con Men
#9 vs #7 -- who wins? The better defense or the better offense? Think I'm going to go with the better offense here -- Compton wins by 13


Philadelphia Bling vs Alliance Cobras
#20 vs #19 -- going to be some empty seats at this one! Who wins? Who cares.

The first week is always tough, it does suck that we have to wait until nightfall to watch these games.

Orlando always seems to give DC some fits early on so we may not put up 80...maybe 79

I'll beat myself with a rotten mushroom if Philly doesn't win. We've never paid much attention to ladder games, so we're likely a bit better than our ranking suggests. We beat DRZ and D.C. last season, and lost to Compton (twice) and Hellraisers by a combined 12 points.

I don't think we've ever scored 80 points. Mostly because our D gives too many first downs
