Well, It's 5 seasons later and I'm really happy with my first set of toons I made for this game. 4 of my 6 players were early bloomer and I am still VERY happy with the builds. I think this shows you can make them work with effort. Each of these guys I spent hours on creating and re-creating the build.

There are a few holes that I wish I could fix, like receiving grip on my WR. But honestly for an overall picture they are all pretty solid in my mind. The fun part is I never played GLB1 and I'm not even a football guy, I'm just a gamer, and this has been some fun stuff. I love the character creation a lot. If anyone has an early bloomer build they are proud of and want to share, send me a friend request and the link. I've found the challenge of crunching these templates to be the best part of this game thus far and would love to see some other final EB templates.

The kicker is really great IMO. Where did you spent the cap boosters?

All 3 on accuracy.

For the WR, do you find 45 Conditioning is good enough or is that something you would change?

Depends on how they are being used. How the rotations go, how often they pass... etc.. Every situation calls for different amounts

It's better to watch your players and if they are getting drained, add more into conditioning or toughness or heart (depending on how they are being drained). Don't let someone else's team dictate your players stats.

TBH early bloomer is borderline OP. definitely a good choice for many positions.

Is it? Cuz I'm not seeing it with these guys. Sure you get maxed out on all the stats in the world but those maxed stats are extremely average. Low 70's catching is ok for sprinters but for a slug that seems pretty weak.

You can't build freely which is the downfall, and it took hours just to find those balances. But you can't really go high in 1 place such as catching ability without tanking his maxes in other areas. Those toons are pretty restricted to the builds I linked. What's nice is you get a lot of SP all over, so they are fleshed out non-superstars with rounded ability. But certainly not role types.

My WR caught 6 of 9. Also 2 incompletes that got knocked loose. The low grip is going to sting at veteran it seems. I should have put cap boosts there instead of sprinting.

My TE caught 4 of 5 passes. Certainly looking hopeful so far at vet for these EB kids.
