So this is my first time playing GLB2 and this team is looking for a Balanced TE, since I have never build a TE before and as I can see people usually go for receiving TEs, what do you guys recommend me to focus on? Worth it to go for a S* Balanced TE?

At the rookie level it's probably good enough just to get in the way of a defender. So a bit into run block awareness. Besides that skills like Balance, Conditioning, Toughness, Footwork, Quickness, etc will help as both a blocker and receiver.

First, I'd recommend focusing on catching the ball. Receiving Hands should be the priority. Then slowly round out physicals/receiving skills and see how he's faring as a blocker. Watching plays of him will help you realize what he's lacking.

i would reccomend starting with receiving hands and catch in traffic for receiving. run blk awr and run blk tech for run blocking

Totally agree.

Prioritize based on which the team needs more of; catching first or blocking first.

For Rookie, 20 in the Blocking skills is adequate; 25-30 is pretty good. You'll need much more than that in catching though. Stick with Rec Hands and CiT until they are 50 before you go for the other Catching skills or anything in Physical other than Conditioning.

Rec Awareness is pretty important. He has to turn around and see the ball.

This is the guy I made a week ago, looks like he's somewhere you guys told me to go, as far as I can see his blocks are realy good and he lacks on receiving skills, I think I'll prioritize Catch in Traffic because most of the QBs throw on the coverage no matter if you are open or not, so, I'll keep an eye on the replays and work from there.

Classic rookie mistake . . . you can actually lower the 5's to gain more points to apply in other areas. I'd lower stamina (4 should do), Confidence (3-4) and Strength (4-5) to increase Speed, Agility and Awareness.
