I'm just guessing here, but I think "the people who hang out on the GLB2 board" prefer GLB2.

GLB1 is for hookers and John's who need a private room.

GLB is where the swingers bang out their Portlandian orgy time.

1 was fun but it has run its course. Might be fun to try out for the first time if you are a new user just to see which version you like more but for most Vets, the game has gotten old. GLB1 is not nearly as active and leagues seem to be dying off more and more every season. For longevity, GLB2 is the game to get involved in.

Played both. 2 is better. As others said though, you will get different answers depending on which one you post on. GLB1 players have a strong hatred towards GLB2.

yeah i played GLB 1 and enjoyed it, but i liked the new appearance of GLB 2 and the idea of it. The reason i was asking is because i have seen alot of people complaining, which i assume are just the QQing people.

I wouldn't say QQing people more-so than people trying point out areas to make the game better, which more often than not are valid (more stats plz?), seeing as this is still technically beta it's to be expected.

It has its issues (as does everything), but it is slowly getting better (IMO), and should continue to do so.

I played GLB1 for the first 6-7 seasons, and am enjoying GLB2 much more.

how is the player base in GLB 2 so far i havent been able to get a feel of it yet?

So far I like GLB 2 more than GLB 1, I feel like I have more control over how my players operate on the field. Never went into the playbook/tactics settings in GLB 1, so I can't compare those.
