Just looking for opinions on pairing the slow built SA with superstars. In what situation would coupling these two SA's not make sense?

There's few situations where it DOES make sense. What position are you planning it for?

Unless the OP thinks that high caps in all skills means that the end build will also be that you will cap out all of those skills.
---
To the OP:
High caps in everything does not mean that you will actually have enough skill points to cap out all of those skills.
---
That being said, there are some few builds where there is no other way to get the cap on a specific skill high enough. For example, you cannot build a punter with more than 60 intimidation, even with the cap boosters, without superstar or slow starter. If that's something that has you worried, you have the right idea using slow starter and superstar together.

Every single new agent should read this thread. Understanding the relationship between your skill caps at creation and your skill levels at build-end is probably the single most important factor in player building. There are very few (if any) times I would use slow-built with superstar, there are many times I would use early bloomer with superstar.

Yeah, but if you are building, for instance, a Coverage Commander + Intimidating punter, you are going to cap out that build in a few seasons.
For instance:
http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/28089
has been capped out on punt hands, punt accuracy, punt consistency, heart, conditioning, and intimidation for a whole season. Any other points are just going into random shit like balance, quickness, footwork, etc.
He's not built to run the ball down himself, just to make sure that his coverage unit has an advantage and is able to drop the morale of the other team a bit.

True. Punter and KOS are the only positions where what I said isn't valid.

I could see that.

Thanks for the responses dudes. But I understand the concept of not being able to reach maxed stats in all/most attributes. I relate to mysterio's situation exactly, as I was trying to build the exact style and position and it was the only way, as well as specialty specific builds (P, K, bFB-might be a stretch)
