Is there no way to own 2 teams? I see some teams that are not rookie teams that are CPU. Is there any way to buy those teams and reset them to rookie?

Basically the only way I've seen people be able to own 2 teams, is to be a GM on a team when the owner goes inactive. They usually grant ownership of the team to the GM from there. Not sure if they will just let you take over a team. As Hayrow mentioned, just message support and they may be able to help you out.

I've always felt letting people own more than one team (only different tiers perhaps?) would make it easier for players to find human controlled teams.

It would also make recruiting more difficult, which is already one of if not the biggest barriers to team ownership and competitiveness.
Being on an uncompetitive, human owned team that's filled with CPU players isn't going to be a much better experience than being on a CPU owned team that's mostly filled with human players.

Do you really think that someone who already owns a half CPU team will buy another team? I understand what you are saying but it doesn't really make sense.
The marketplace seems to be filled with players looking for a team. Most of the builds on there aren't that great but a team with half cpu players should use anyone they can get.

The majority of people who actually want a 2nd team are going to be the type of people who have no problem recruiting.

Oh, yeah no doubt. But then people who aren't having much success recruiting are going to have an even more difficult time recruiting.
We tried the "let anyone own as many teams as they want" thing with GLB Classic, and it resulted in most teams being unable to come anywhere close to filling their rosters and the majority of teams not being remotely competitive.
I mean, I've been giving CPU teams in human leagues to users upon request, but we already have a case study of flooding the market with teams.

Cleaning the inactive players in the marketplace would help recruiting, wouldn't it? I know I've looked for players there and had to send out 6,7,8+ contracts before I find one that's active.

Yeah that would be helpful.

Or just have the right column "Online" dot work like it does on the roster page, where it would change color if someone is inactive and if you hover over it with the mouse, you can see when they were last active.
Finally, being able to sort on that column so that active agents players went to the top, would be a huge benefit.

That would be sweet.

I was going to use the other team as my farm. Get the players ready for when my other dot's have to be retired. No biggie. Just wondering.
