This is for the free player slot that Beta testers received as a thank you gift from Bort and Co. not the free slot that you get when when you sign up.

Since this is awarded to a certain type of person it should be transparent to all GLB games. I should be able to use the awarded slot on GLB2 if I'm not using it on GLB1.

This shouldn't work if you have a player with the free slot on GLB 1, it would only work if you were not using the free slot on GLB 1, vise verse

I like the idea. I guess the argument against would be that you earned that free spot beta testing Classic, not GLB2. Of course much of what we "tested" in Classic was carried over here.

I would be all for this even though i cant use it. Couldnt reactive my Classic account to work on GLB2 so pretty much lost everything...

Either way people who were there should be rewarded in a manner usable to them. If what was said in the GLB2 vs Classic which is better thread is accurate that GLB2 has more player base then wouldnt this assist with bringing more players onto GLB2 to try it if they are still on Classic?

I would be for this, but of course I would be because I'm one of those guys that has the extra slot on GLB1, which I don't even play anymore.

I would love it, but probably only, because I am one of the players who has a second free player on GLB1 that I dont use...

My reasoning also, I have a second slot I haven't used in two seasons

I really would love to see it implented, but only for selfish reasons. Maybe we get a second free player, when GLB2 leaves Beta.

Just limit the positions you could create with this other free player and this would be a great idea. No OBs or HBs if your other free player is a QB/HB. So basically you can't have QB/QB, QB/HB, or HB/HB as your free player combo. Also probably shouldn't allow you to have a S* in both free player slots.

Man, I've been with GLB since season 1 of classic. No breaks, every season at least one active player. I would love to get that extra free player in GLB2 instead; I don't play GLB Classic anymore. My last pro guy has hit decline. It'll be the end of an era. The reward is for faithfulness to the game; I'm still faithful just with GLB2 now.
