Hey guys, i think we've established by now that i will attempt some sort of witty prediction type thread for the league games, I managed a 61-23 (0.727) record last season with my predictions so i have set myself a target...which is going to be tough with 11 new teams for me to look through, but i'll give it a go! 
I figured the best way to start the season would be a little review thread so i can scout....sorry...get to know the teams here and possibly offend some people before the season even starts...aside from Chevy who i may have already offended!
ALPHA
Houston Roughnecks
The rednecks lost in last seasons championship game and have had zero turnover during the offseason...as you would expect from a 1 agent team i guess. Although i expect corey is starting to get a little tetchy that the agent who owns his entire team hasnt logged in since 21st and is yet to accept a contract...these are either going to be a team to watch or a cupcake...it all depends on kongemeier showing up!!!
New York Customs
Last Seasons Gemini Champions have managed to almost keep their entire squad together aside from an OT & probably the replacement of an inactive DE when they get around to it so it will be much of the same i should expect...not that i know what that is...they seem to be a predominantly pass first team (great idea!!!!) with the offensive MVP behind centre (i'm English this is how it should be spelt!!!!) they only lost 3 times last season (in the league). I expect the sniffer dogs that are NY Customs will be one of the teams to watch out for again in season 6.
Sea Pee Eww
The PC's sit at 25 in the Sophomore ladder to start the season only 2 spots behind the rednecks which suggests they are a tough bunch of cookies...their record last season suggests otherwise...and they currently have no players (zero, zip, nadda, none) signed up for season 6, their roster also has 12 (TWELVE) inactive players and 5 CPU guys on it...not currently in the best state. i think they might struggle in a very tough Alpha division.
Florida Panhandlers
Another team who is having trouble with inactive agents and another team with 12 of them on the roster, there is some serious recruiting needed for the manhandlers and PC's to stop Alpha becoming a 2 whores race!
BETA
The strongest division....obviously!
Ember City Mastodons
The elephants lost in the 1st round of the playoffs in season 5 to the sniffer dogs and sit between the rednecks and PC's in the ladder rankings, those 20 somethings in the ladder are strong!
They look to be another pass first team who have managed to recruit successfully during the off season. Chemistry MIGHT be a small issue initially but the Elephants will be one of the top teams in Beta.
South Aussie Thunder
The convicts look like they are a place for the owner to house his 10 players and the rest of the team is made up of CPU players, it doesnt look as though they will be any danger to the playoff hunting teams.
Phuket Nightwalkers
The Hookers are the first of the intruders into Gemini and have come from the now defunct Hydra league where they were crowned champions. They sit at #5 in the ladder and will pass you to death! They have brought in an additional S* DT to shore up the interior line but the rest of the players are basically the owners, who is a fantastic guy by the way....veeeeery nice bloke!
in all seriousness this is my team, we will pass, i assume most teams will still blitz against us and i will try and make sure my QB doesn't spend more time on his back than Lindsay Lohan! I will be hoping to get into those playoffs again and take that shiney trophy away from those sniffer dogs!
Capua Gladiators
The second of the new guys and look to be a brand new team!?
They have 3 S* DT's so dont run inside against them...hang on...they have 2 pass rushing DT's (One with an open build) and a run stuffer...inside pressure against the pass...hmmmm they could prove tricky to score against if they complete their roster (they still have a few CPU's dotted around). Beta could be interesting if the romans show up!
GAMMA
Gamma contains the leagues only CPU run team and contains 2 more new teams to Gemini
San Diego Slashers
The Gemini old boys of this division this is the team i have had most trouble coming up with a nickname for (its just my thing...i dont know why) but apparently (according to google) a slasher is someone who writes Gay love stories in fanfiction...whatever that maybe (???? i might be showing my age here! ????) so they will now forever be known as the Homo authors!
The Homo authors seem to have a VERY small roster of plays (only 37) with over £(I told you im English)5million in cap space so i assume there is going to be some recruiting going on here before the season starts in...a few days time!
They seemed to struggle last season against teams who have now disapeared and i can see nothing that makes me think that this season will be anything different, especially now they have Akron & ENMU to play with...so to speak!
ENMU GreyHounds
The puppies are another pass first team...although they run more than the others and have a roster which has mostly stayed together and added a S* CB...and a good S* CB at that (he was on a team i coached last season) so have improved on last season. They will be a challenger for the division...although Akron may have something to say about that!
Akron Dawgs
Bosintang (Google iiiit) are the final team of note in Gemini and the most balanced team in the League...although they do seem to have lost their rushing QB for season 6 so hopefully we will have a full division without having one of those horrible QB Rollout teams to deal with!
I have made a deal with their owner that they will be picked to win on a sunday and i hope the fixture gods give them an easy ride on gods day...i know they will be thankful that the only tough divisional game they have will be against ENMU!
There is another team in Gamma but im not even going to bother with them!
So by my reckoning the following teams will be in with a shout of the playoffs;
Rednecks & Sniffer Dogs from Alpha
Elephants, Hookers & Romans from Beta
Puppies & Bosintang from Gamma
Thats 7 teams for 4 playoff spots with Beta looking like the strongest of the 3 divisions and Gamma looking the weakest and the likely destination of the wild card team due to their easier schedule!
Good luck everyone i hope you all lose to each other and forget to blitz the Hookers!
