The announcements are very un-noticeable. I do a bunch of work in process industry control graphics, and one of the most important things we do for a DCS operator that needs to see something important, we flash a visible alarm at them.

If there were a little red blinking triangle with an exclamation point next to a "new" announcement, that would then clear after the user clicked through to read the announcement, I bet a bunch more announcements would actually get read.

No disagreement. I just happened to notice it.

No announcement over on GLB Classic. Just sayin'
