Can't find the rules on player decline - how long is a career?

I know it can be added to. But when does decline start, how is it worked, etc etc.

If you can just point me to the rules somewhere that would be okay.

There is no decline. After you run out of games you can only play in CPU owned Legends leagues.

Off the top of my head, I don't know exactly how long veteran tier lasts, but I'm thinking it's like up to 5 seasons.

Here's the link: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/forum/thread/5135141

And here's the info you may be wanting:
What happens when I reach level 25? How long does my player play? What happens after that?
Once your player reaches level 25, he remains at level 25 for 1 additional season (30 games). You can add up to 3 additional seasons' worth of games (90 more) at level 25 by buying the appropriate boosts. After this "plateau" period ends, the player reaches the "Legend" tier and becomes eligible to only play in Legend Leagues. Legend leagues are CPU-run teams specifically for Legend players only.

As far as legend leagues go, will those players still count in the per season HOF? Will there be a legends only HOF?

I don't see anyone wanting to use legend leagues when the Hall of Fame is season to season

It seems to me like the Legend Leagues are just a place where your retired players go to play what are essentially a season's worth of pickup games (for free I assume). I don't think anyone will really care about the wins and losses but it would be cool to see a player you had retired many months ago still pull off some sweet moves.

I would also assume that the Legends Leagues have no impact on the HoF rankings, unless there is a separate Legends League HoF which would be pretty silly since the teams and gameplans will all be CPU controlled anyways from what it sounds like.

Nope.

Will be a place for people who really want to see their player continue playing, not much else.

I thought you get 7 seasons before you have to buy the career boosts?

I do somewhat wonder what the purpose of having 4 15-game career boosts was, instead of two 30-game career boosts that cost twice as much.

I mean... who's buying a single 15-game career boost or 3 career boosts? Anyone?

Wait - I thought there was some talk of a "decline" if you were playing the season out past your last game. Since there are multiple ways to run out of games in the middle of the season (purchasing a half season boost, missing some games in season and never using the "catch up" option), you either have to have a way to play out the season at a penalty, or you have to have players drop off of teams partway through the season.

What's going to happen with players who reach Legend mid-season?
