You get flex back and you create a new dot or find a new game.

Just hang on to him until the end of the season, then I'd recommend retiring him and building a new player for an active human owned team.

You'll start seeing posts in the "teams looking for players" forum about new teams being built next season. Try jumping on one of those teams. It is much more enjoyable to be on a human team, especially if the team forum is active. If you can't find anything, let me know. I can't buy another team, but I am looking to be a part of a rookie team next season and I can find a home for you and help you with your build if needed.

It's a CPU league. Numbers put up there are about as meaningless as it gets - most of your opponents are either CPU players (which literally put points in at random), or builds not good enough to find a real team. I'm not saying your player is bad, but you can't say he's good when he doesn't have any real competition.

100% Ditto this thought, stats and play in CPU leagues mean almost nothing to me when guys ask. It can be both positive and negative, for example a lead blocking FB will fumble and run poorly in a D-League whereas a different scheme would take advantage of him better. Same for CB's. DE's tend to inflate stats badly ... ditto QB's what works in D-League seldom works elsewhere.
