Ok - I'm out of town for a week or so - so my last ladder thread for awhile.
Have some new matchups - and several seasoned matchups so an exciting week.
#1 (76) Minnesota Stunners 15-2 vs #94 (30 Journeyman) Sandy Cheeks 5-12-
These teams met on July 15th with the Cheeks coming away with the victory off of a dismal Stunners offensive performance. Since then - Cheeks have gone 3-8. Since then the Stunners have gone 10-1. Hopefully whatever went wrong has been corrected and the Stunners can squeak one out.

#2 (91) Philadelphia Continentals 15-2 vs #108 (#63 'pro' team) Sparta 1-16 5am - looks like another simple one for Philly. No reason to game plan here.
#3 (98) D'haran 14-3 vs #4 (99) Tampa Bay Tuskenraiders 14-3 @ 2pm. - A great chance for Tampa Bay - but since they just lost a league game to Gatling - it rally makes me wonder if they are ready for this. At the same time though, D'Haran just lost to the high powered passing game of LUELinks. I'm not sure who is going to win - but I do know I'm excited to watch it!
#5 (100) Victorious Secret 11-6 vs #117 (66 pro) Sacramento Spartans 6-11 - After a rough start to the season, VS has won 5 straight. What is going on with them? It used to be that Peeti and Wannaknow were taking part in all the forum posts - having some good natured discussions about upcoming games...and now - POOF - nothing. Spartans are 6-2 in the ladder this season - beating mostly garbage teams. The only comparison I see here is that the Spartans got worked by LUELinks 14-42 - that should be a good road map for VS to follow
#6 (102) Drinkin Hellraisers 14-3 vs #12 (116) Rhode Island Falcons 10-7 - Drinkin has been playing good, good dot ball. Rhode Island has never really achieved what it seemed like they were going to achieve back in rookie ball. I think this game will be close though.
#7 (105) Nebraska 11-6 vs #16 (123) Jersey Goons 13-4 - Jersey is having a nice season. Nebraska is always good but has hit some rough patches vs some journeyman teams this season. This game won't be close - Jersey is not ready for the top 10 just yet.
#8 (105) LUELinks LUEshis 14-3 vs #11 (113) Gatling 11-6 - LUE has been red hot - knocking off #7 Nebraska and #3 D'Haran in the last 4 days. I think they are a team on the rise...while Gatling seems to be a team that is right about where it should be in the ladder. LUE will continue to climb.
#9 (110) Rare Breed Rookies 11-6 vs #90 (28 Journeyman) Grass Valley Trolls 8-8-1 - Grass Valley has been a tough out for seasoned teams. Can Rare Breed hang on now that they've found the top 10? I hope so.
#10 (112) Alpine vs #111 (65 Pro) Cleveland Piranhas 2-14-1 - A tough game for Alpine --- but both D'Haran and Philadelphia have beaten them. Are you in the same league as those teams? We will see.
