Can you trigger that shit in the pocket or is it only when you decide to scramble / QB run

I guess even if it did the duration sucks so bad you would need to get it to trigger at the right time. Brace for Impact is really what I am thinking about here but Mr. Reliable sounds better if it worked magically every time.

It would be pretty much for the "carry grip at least 30% of max" part to maybe prevent a sack or two occasionally. Brace 4 Impact is designed for that and what I originally planned but if you could kind of game Mr. Reliable into activating over and over in the pocket then +5 carry grip on top of that "carry grip at least 30%" part would just be icing.

But I don't think that's the case, but I don't know anybody who has it either.

My SA build for QB is probably the weirdest in the game. I am at 7 SA's right now and should have 8 by the finish line. I'm all about those 100% activation bonuses.

I've only ever seen it on QBs designated to run, never on a pocket QB. (I have it on my rookie QB, there isn't a whole lot of good SAs for a running QB)

That said, I've never seen it fire in the pocket.

I don't think you count as carrying the ball when you are preparing to throw IIRC so that'd make sense, I was mostly curious if I was wrong - but then again Brace 4 Impact says "about to be tackled when you are carrying the ball" as well, so I wonder if that also doesn't work in the pocket.

I originaly took stiff arm on my (now Pro) QB for that same thinking... to stiff arm defenders away in the pocket (defender from the side...eh?). I've never seen it fire unless he runs out of the pocket.

I had it on my QB last season. Throw with him on occasion, it never fired in the pocket iirc.
